@@intothefrayyoto be fair Ultraman has been rumored for a while (although the rumor came from RPK who is a shit source these days), and the U is very reminiscent of Ultraman’s, way more than Ulysses’s. This isn’t NR doing no research, they just presented it as a fact that this is Ultraman instead of saying it’s a possibility or something. It’s fine lol.

@@apomalachel8787 well in my opinion I’ve always seen the Guardians movies as serious, yea they have comedic stuff in it but when it comes to the emotions of the characters it’s done really well, I can see when you mean by the bloody stuff from his Suicide Squad & Peacemaker projects but again they do have emotional stuff that characters have to deal with, I have total faith in him, buts it’s going to be hard to beat Superman & Lois I think that’s the perfect modern day Superman story.

Everyone needs to see even just a gif of Christopher Reeve's "transformation" of posture, mannerisms and yes, glasses AND a quick read of All Star Superman's Clark interviewing Luthor in Prison. I doubt anyone coming out still doubting how Clark is able to fool everyone around him.

Superman is strong because of how his biology works on Earth. I agree that he doesn't have to be super muscular. If you think about it, we (by "we" I mean earthlings) gain muscle mass by working out and doing things like lifting works. What, realistically, would Superman have to lift to gain muscle mass?

Granted, that has changed over time, (1940’s body builders had no where near the mass and definition as modern day builders) but none the less. I don’t really care to much, but his suit looks like a jacket and relax fit pants. The trunks don’t work with that design. ‘Shrugs’ hopefully it looks good in motion.

I personally love the suit, but I feel if it was tighter had the same shiny material as cavill’s suit and was tighter (with cgi wrinkles etc in post like tasm2) I feel like the whole thing would’ve been more received well

@4:28 Which... which side of the street do you think "street traffic" is supposed to be on in the US (and all of the planet, excepting some former British colonies)? I'm pretty sure we stay to the right, not to the left in vehicles (and standing vs passing on escalators), so I don't understand this "walk on the left" thing, and I don't think it's necessary to your point here: Clark's bumping into a bunch of people on a very busy sidewalk where the bulk of the foot traffic just happens to be going the other direction, which happens all the time in busy cities (for example, when a subway train just disgorged a bunch of passengers).

Why? I mean, I know of him because I read comics. But even to me, he was a side character, I'm not a fan, but he doesn't have solo books, and isn't really in a lot of movies or tv shows. I know in the CW they did a version, but the CW shows were dropping in popularity due to poor writing for a long time, so the general public wouldn't know him. This movie might change that.

There are a few similarities between this film and the TV series My Adventures with Superman. Particularly, Clark with his mop top and Superman with his hair combed back except for the one curl in the front.

He was successfully introduced GOTG to the world, characters that no one actually cares before. I just can’t imagine what he can bring to Superman. I’m so excited

i always thought Christopher Reeves was the best on-screen Superman, when youre already a super strength alien in peak physical condition you dont need to look like Henry Cavill (he was great though), but lets be honest, his Clark perfomance was great. EVERYONE would have figured out Cavill's Clark after like 10 min, his Clark wasnt super. sorry Henry.

I think this suit will have a similar origin to the My Adventures with Superman suit where the suit is Kryptonian technology/fashion and the trunks were made by his mom to cover up his junk.
