With classic lokis death, every lokis purpose is to push those around him to be their best versions. He ultimately achieved this with his sacrifice of his grand illusion because our heroes see their true potential through him when they realize they are more powerful than they realize. His death was perfect and poetic.

Kang didn't create the TVA but learned about them through his travels & took them over w/ help from Renslayer. Then Alioth came along & imprisoned Kang in the fortress in the Void. Alioth is not guarding Kang to keep Kang safe, he is guarding Kang so no one can free him. He wants to keep him prisoner. The TVA keeps pruning Loki's because Kang knows only a Loki can defeat Alioth, therefore setting Kang free to rule again.

This was the single-greatest Loki episode so far, and this series is the best of the Disney+ 4th phase. If it's Kang, it'll be absolutely perfect! But if he's intended to appear in future MCU releases then he likely won't be destroyed by Loki. I can't wait for this finale! It will rock the foundations of the MCU as we know it.

Classic Loki’s escape story basically tells us that there are multiple future timelines where Loki survives Thanos. Heck, Classic Loki could even be the MCU main Loki. It all boils down to whether Disney wants to bring Loki back to the main MCU.

I don't think classic Loki can be the main timeline Loki unless we're assuming that the timeline we've been following isn't the sacred timeline (which is completely possible) , if that's the case then anything goes.

His file ends when Thanos kills him. Main timeline Loki is dead. The nexus event wasn’t just coming out of hiding, it was surviving at all, but staying hidden didn’t creat enough nexus energy to approach the red line and need to be pruned. Coming out of hiding made that timeline approach the red line.

Also, the beauty of Kang, is that the person who created the TVA doesn’t have to be KANG. I love the idea that this might be Immortus, and that the TVA was created to keep the conqueror version of Kang from being unleashed on the multiverse.

Maybe Alioth is keeping Kang trapped in the end of time with He Who Remains because the TVA leader is He Who Remains and the entire goal is to keep Kang trapped in the Void to protect the Sacred Timeline. Loki and Slyvie just opened the door and freed Kang.

Well, if that's the case, why hide it? He could've say it his people and no one will complain if it's for the sacred timeline. Based on the trailer footage of Loki at the “throne” of Asgard with his arms out… I think a Loki Variant is the big bad, sadly. I think he will have a room in that castle modeled after the throne room. He specifically targets Loki variants because he fears himself

I agree. I think he will be the big bad, but maybe our Loki and Sylvie will work together to defeat King Loki and the TVA and in doing so, will leave the timeline more vulnerable thereby allowing for villains like Kang to cause timeline havoc.

I'm calling it now. King Loki is a vision sequence where he's offered the life he's always wanted. He'll find himself at Avengers Tower, which is the trailer shot we see. He'll also see himself as King Loki, ruling over Asgard. Then he'll be ripped back to reality and choose to destroy the TVA and prove that he's changed. The main "villain" of the series will most likely be He Who Remains. It makes the most sense, with the finale's location literally set at the last surviving place at the end of time, where He Who Remains created the TVA in the comics.

It seems to me the morale of the Loki series is that a person can choose their own path and people can change, no matter what other people’s expectations are. I think Classic Loki had the same experience Loki had in episode 4. When he realized “he can be who ever he wants to be. In case someone told him different.” -Mobius I think is was a real and genuine self-sacrifice.

Loki from the main timeline is clearly changing, becoming less selfish, less childish, and more mature. He’s becoming a better version of himself. Beyond anything he could’ve imagined before.

I liked how the Classic Loki’s nexus event is that he used an illusion on Thanos which was one of fans theories about Loki in Infinity War

I don’t think Classic Loki survived. First, it was a guest appearance. Second, the arc he had was that he didn’t reach the maturity the Original Loki did - which was what motivated the Original to sacrifice himself. Instead, Classic Loki chose a ‘classic’ Loki way out and survived the events. And when he wanted to make amends - the TVA snatched him up - and he had been living in the void since then. To an extent, he had given up hope for any sort of change in his life - and accepted that the only forward was to keep running. However, when he met Prime Loki (our Loki) - he was moved by his difference and the potential of this younger version of himself could actually bring change to all the Loki(s). So Classic Loki sacrificing himself was kind of his reckoning - and also a chance to be himself again as he went out with his glorious purpose.

BEST MARVEL EPISODE SO FAR. PERIOD. The romance of Loki and Sylvie was to die for and absolutely heartwarming, Loki hugging Mobius filled my eyes with tears, and Yes, tens of memes are going to come out of this legendary episode. And soo many mind-blowing existences confirmed!!!!

After reading and some KZfaq on back stories, I’m convinced the person at the end will be immortious like in the comics he went to the end of time and made a deal with the time keepers for enter all life and to maintain the timelines. Renslayer and kang to play huge roles in the future with all the crazy variants/time jumping. I can’t wait!

Well I think Thor Ragnarok actually made a joke about Loki turning Thor into a frog (the play that Loki wrote as Odin) So I don't think the Nexus event was the turning into a frog. It might have been "I turned Thor into a frog, and then Mjolnir fell and crushed him"

Another Easter egg in E5. Marvel confirmed that "Loki" can create illusions so real it does in fact fool Thanos. This is possibly the twist that will allow him to survive the events of Infiniti War, returning to that timeline, because eventually he has to.
