I didn't think the rats were necessarily foreshadowing Blood and Cheese. They were symbolic of the rot in King's Landing and also may be how Larys knows so much. It'll be interesting to see if he has anything to do with the killings. It's blamed on Mysaria and those two seem opposed at the moment.

First off, congrats on the pending parenthood and happy holidays! I'm super excited for the season, the show's so brilliantly cast and I can't wait to see Amanda Collins et all bring to the table. Not so sure about the comparison between Aemond and Jamie you made, one of those characters has a redemptive arc and the other is about as one-noted a villain as GRRM has ever written not named Euron, they're apples & oranges.

14:17 yes My favorite thing about all this is we've got the account of Mushroom and also the account of Grand Maester Munken. Some parts of eachs story/history is true some is not. But what we are getting is the actual story that falls somewhere in the middle of both accounts. Its a Every story has 3 sides to it kinda thing. Which is genius

I think it is aegon taking harrenhal the first time, as it rains severely during rooks rest. Which is actually a major part of the battle and the tactics of the blacks

It still makes me laugh at the fact everyone could believe that Addam could be the bastard son of Corlys. Being a dragon rider never came from the Velayon side. It came from the Targaryen side. Laenor and Laena were the very first of House Velayon to ever ride a dragon. While House Velayon are from Old Valyria, they were never dragon lords and therefore never had dragons, until Corlys and Rhaenys married and had children.
