Very brief update on the Channel - we have not died!
For the last few weeks the upload speed has been falling. The last video took around 12 hours. I contacted my supplier and there were several conversations - they tried to help and accepted it was their problem. They then opted for the "we only guarantee a maximum upload speed not a minimum." I pointed out 0.02Mbs is effectively equal to Zero and therefore constitutes no service. They went away to think about that. They then offered to upgrade me to fibre for an additional fee. I did some research and got a better offer for less money so they are now my ex-supplier. Sad really as up to now they have been really first class.
The changeover is due to take place Friday 19 November. If there are anymore problems there will be a video naming all parties :-)
