I looked up an article on this. She honestly says that she ripped her neck off. "When I got off the jet ski, the jet ski and I collided and I ripped my neck off…I didn’t know I did anything. I got out of the water and they were like, ‘What is on your neck?’ It’s like blood, but it healed really well,” she said. I feel like that guy should have asked, "where is your neck?" This sounds like a relatively minor cut across her neck, maybe even skin ripped off, but her neck was surely still attached to her body. You guys made it a lot more realistic saying throat, but if ripped your neck off that would include your head. Oddly dramatic way to describe her injury.

After having looked into the story I think a better description of the events would most likely be "The handle bars struck my throat so hard they tore out a piece of skin" or something to that effect.

So I found a source that said she basically got a huge gash in her throat. I'm very confused as to someone wouldn't just say that they had a gash in their throat??
