I just did cpr on a neighbor- I was trained as a kid on Scouts…. I did chest compressions for 6 minutes until EMT arrived, he’s survived 72 hours so far and I’m absolutely traumatized… I wasn’t prepared to see his face turn blue, the sounds, the cracking ribs… honestly I can’t even sleep. I would do it again of course, I’d always help- but I can say it’s traumatizing and I wish they would have said what to expect while it’s happening.
