They actually HAD a girl Newsie in the live shows, but they didn't use her during the filming of the film. But there's no reason a girl cannot be a Newsie. As for not being flexible, that can come with plenty of training and hard work.

I think this was the one they recently put on Netflix! I always loved the music, but I never saw the whole play. Finally saw it, and it was amazing! The dancing was unbelievable! Definitely one of my top 10 favorite broadways!

Eastern Washington has this big festival called Apple Blossom and the musical for next year is Newsies and I’m ridiculously excited, I swear I screamed when I found out 😂 This film is what I saw on Netflix and I fell in love, I can’t count how many times I’ve rewatched it. I’m gonna train really hard for auditions in winter and hopefully be cast. Even if I’m not, I’m gonna see it every single time it shows if I have the money

Hello!! I love newsies so much I am such a big fan!! my family calls me a triple threat because I love singing acting and dancing so much! Newsies inspired me to start dancing singing and acting!! I've taken 2 whole broadway classes. And when I'm older I'm gonna be a famous Broadway star.
