This week, we bring you TV Newsance from ground zero. In this special episode, we meet locals and a well-known TV journalist on the field in Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh.

He is Manoj Bajpai's favourite journo - perhaps India's best actor has said that he would love to play Rajeev Ranjan on screen. So, the guy's pretty famous, I would say. I think in this interview, Rajeev gave the answer to your question himself. The pro-government folks only watch TV, and the anti-government ones only watch social media. And Rajeev (due to the channel he is part of) seems to be stuck in a TV-esque place online. I am a default-vote-to-opposition it-don't-impress-me-much type of voter in general. I did not know of Rajeev earlier either, before I saw Manoj Bajpai's interview. And then had followed Rajeev a bit - impressive. Threads the center-of-center line - very rare. And adbhut command over the medium. Proper old school TV journo.

Women safety is a joke in uttar pradesh. Police bahot ghatiya hain UP. Only thing good happened in uttar pradesh is roads connecting bundelkhand region.i don't agree with rajiv ranjan jee on women safety issue and police corruption, brutality are huge.
