All public officials are subject to having a new one ripped at any time as this is a First Amendment Right including hand gestures. Law Enforcement Officers are paid to protect the Rights of all citizens as this is the job they decided to undertake. They are not paid to be Feelings, Morality or for Officer Safety again as that is the job they undertook including protecting all the Rights in the Constitution of the United States and all the Amendments.

I watch all kinds of cop videos every day going on year three. Mostly independent journalist I'm Ted Zone. I'm very sorry to say that America is becoming or has become a police state I say this knowing the gravity. Almost zero cops know the constitution sine don't care about it at all. True story. But so long as you don't fight for your rights most things run smoothly but fight for any right and you're almost sure to sue. Everyone thinks this is someone else's job to fix. It's not it is our job We the People individual or in groups. The Constitution does not give you rights it protects the rights God gave us all. So we are boren with them only corruption can ease something like that

The officer clearly violated this citizens civil rights because of a bruised ego and you tell the citizen to grow up? The officer is a child with a badge, not even a man. If getting flipped off is so traumatic for you, you have no business being a public servant. I completely agree that lawyers are in it for the money, but that is irrelevant to this officers actions.
