It was like this, before the creation of the universe, Shiva-Shakti were one entity, For creation of universe, Brahma needed a lot of energy and he reached to this entity. Shakti decided to seprate herself from Shiva and join herself in the creation in form of prakrit, and hence from here we know prakrit is feminine in nature. Now when this creation was finished, Shakti had decided she will remerge with Shiva and hence all the storylines where we see her constant rebirth in different forms and places to remarry Shiva

About the question of who created the world.. there are many different versions.. but the most common understanding is that there are three things that make up universe : Space, Time and Energy… Space is Vishnu, Time/Kaal is Shiv and Energy is Shakti…no creation is possible without the three… hope that helps

U tried ur best but if we are talking about the Universe it is created by Shiv and Shakti by going through a natural process of making a baby... but here they created the entire universe which is known as Big Bang theory now but as we all know research is still going on about big bang. In my opinion if we talk about everything above universe itself... It is created by the one above all whom we can not worship according to Yajurveda and also we can not name him, we cann't make even can't imagine his physical form so that we worship OM always as his sign. And thats the reason of OM always comes first everywhere. Then comes tridev and they are the form of OM who created life in universe and control everything according to the balance of nature as written in kaal chakra created by paramatma (OM) himself. Everything you are doing is going according to kaal chakra. So it is the concept of god in Hinduism and we can have different opinions about it.

This Indian lady has a passing knowledge of Sanskrit. I kept wincing as she mispronounced various words! Let me give you just one example. Shail (शैल) does not mean "Parvat" or mountain. The word for that in Sanskrit is Shila " शिला". Shail (शैल) denotes that which is derived from Shila or parvat. That is why her more popular name is Parvati, born of the mountain (Parvat).

You can understand by this logic, a universe inside a universe. The big universe created by Devi and inside that small small universe is created by Brahma Vishnu and Mahesh. Both are creators. To give life to a new one female is the medium, the same concept applies to the universe as well. That's the reason we call nature as mother nature.

Adi Shakti or Adi Para Shakti or Mahadevi Durga is considered as the eternal, formless, Parabrahma , a supreme power beyond the universe. According to the Shakta sect , this power is essentially nirguna, but when the formless God, who is neither male nor female, has to create the universe, then in the form of the Adi Parashakti, he creates the universe in the form of desire and creates the world in the form of reproduction. Hinduism says about cyclic time means repeating without ending. and after every end thery was a start. Not every start was with Brahma , sometimes Vishnu/ Shiva started. But sometimes started with femanine power Shakthi. But difference was for Brahma Vishnu and Shiva they need their counter part faminaine powers Saraswati, Lakshmi, Parvathi. But for Shakthi didn't need any external power to start. And we can say Shiva (without form) was dark material, Shakthi ( without form) was dark energy. Which were base of everything.

This universe creation mentioned in this is according to Devi bhagavat puran. Vishnu puran says its the Vishnu who created the universe, Shivpuran says Shiv has created this universe and Bhagvat puran says Krishna has created this universe so its all according to Puranas but If you Go in Rigveda it talks about Aadipurush from which Virraj was born and created this universe so its simply the Brahma born from the navel of Vishnu. Afterall all are the different names of same Parbrahm parmatma.

Such profoundity only in Sanatan dharm. Abrahamic faiths are devoid of philosophy, spirituality or any “gyan” or knowledge. They have just commandments for hell or heaven, jannat or jhanum. Sanatan dharm moves from gross to subtle, from material to non material, from the outer world to the inner world. Exactly opposite to the Abrahamics. There’s nothing outside. It’s all within.

Energy ko hmari language main devi kehte hai bas ham insano ko samaj aa sake isliye energy (female form) leti hai. Actually different god and godesses is different properties, characterstic and function of the one Supreme lord which in order to make us understand the features of one supreme lord are described like supreme lord can destored(shiv), can preserve(vishnu), can make(bharma) and for the creation energy is too required (shakti or goddesses we see). When there is end of universe again these forms will combine.

Yahi Satya hai aadi shakti mata ne hi sabhi Devi devtaon ki Rachna ki Brahma Vishnu Mahesh ki Rachna ki hai aur Brahma ji ko Srishti ki Rachna ke liye Shakti pradan ki hai aur Vishnu ji ko sansar ka palan poshan karne ka aadesh diya hai aur Shakti pradan ki hai aur Bhagwan Shiv ko Srishti ka vinash karne ki Shakti jab Srishti mein paap charam Seema per Ho. By the way, you can not understand Hindu dharma, untill you understand the indian culture. You should know various regional cultures and their way of worshipping . It is very complex and at the same time allows everyone to live freely. Make some Hindu friends and enjoy their festivals. I am Hindu, but i find I need to take lot of births to know thi s knowledge system which evoloved for thousands of years. They did expand their wings of knowledge all over. You guys should keep learning . I am so proud to see both of you .
