Love it, RX-79[G] is among my top 3 favorites of UC next to GP01FB and MkII. You're right that these are a blast to build, I have 2 along with the EZ8 of course, and I plan to rebuild/weather them after I get my airbrush setup. Bandai really needs to release the RG/MG 2.0 of these, it's been long enough and they'd sell like mad.

The RX-79 is probably in my top 3 Gundam of all time. I remember having the Bandai action figure of it back in the early 2000s. I'm looking forward to getting this kit.

Well, that has is one hell of a job! This is one of my favorite mobile suits. Brought it to life with your magic. It would be nice if BANDAI would update this kit! 2.0 or Ver. Ka would be nice. Anyway, keep up the excellent work. It keeps me inspired to do more with my kits.

This was my all time favorite kit for the longest time (2004 until 2017). Still my favorite MS of all time. I have to say that i am still waiting on the RG version and/or the MG 2.0. Love your work!

i prefer water slides over dry transfer any day too! i build 2 of these guys and the second one with after market waterslides..what a diff! love your slight touch of weathering! thanks for sharing man!

This is my first video of yours I've seen and the time lapse combined with the chill music makes for a very rewarding watching experience. I'm about to start my first MG gunpla (this one and a Char's Zaku II 2.0) and I am seriously in awe at the extra steps and expertise you apply to this hobby. A hearty god damn from me as I blunder through clicking parts together- maybe I'll do paint and even LEDs someday but for now that seems a lofty goal. Much kudos for being at that level and showing it to us. Sub'd and bell rung for sure.

Man I love how you do most of your builds with acrylics. I’ve been airbrushing for about 3 months and always felt that I needed to swap to lacquer like mr color or gaia but it can be hard to get a steady supply of those in the states. I’ve been using Tamiya and Vallejo after seeing ur vids. Great build as always.

love the 08th ms team! I think bandai stopped including dry transfer decal is because they are just hard to apply and way too fragile.

If you’re going to build the EZ-8 you definitely have to build the Gouf Custom!

I had problems with the hip poly-caps it flopped around all the time.

like how it's turning out, almost thought this was a new release judging by the thumbnail. also imo.. this model seems better proportioned/finished then most RX-78 MG's (been eyeballing the RX-78's for a while but i kinda don't like any of them, some have weird chest vent's, some have those weird gorilla hands, some have some nice extra detailed arm's/joint's others look quite simple only using different shades of white which looks boring imo, for now just pinning my hopes on on an updated PG, as the old pg is the only one that looks good to me...but it is ancient and i'm low on talent to make it better :P)

1996 is "Early Nineties", huh? The RX-79[G] certainly is my number 1 gundam of all time, and it's really nice to see you have a swing at it! I will say though the age of this MG really lets it down, and I desperately wish they could get a revised 2.0 version of it, as well as a perfect grade, EZ-8 variants of both, Blue Destiny variants, the Slave Wraith... and why not, a mega size model too.
