I build this back when it come out in 2000, I just snap builded it without any added effort and it took me 3 days and a failed chemistry test, but when the LED was working even when I transformed it to wave raider mode, it made me very happy!

I hesitate to panel line a RG, and you are drilling holes on a PG. You sir, have a lot of guts and I salute you.

This was one of the hardest kits i ever built. and it is the only perfect grade i own. one note on the sticker decals. you have to cut them out there are no seams on that sheet. im not sure what was thought about that. about the beam saber, i garantee your battery isnt dead, its a lithium ion cell, it doesnt lose charge unless its in use. the problem is that the leads dont connect properly. mine barely lights up. you bump it wrong and the light goes out, its no wonder why they gaveup on that style of saber. it took me 20 minutes to get it to light up, but when i went to put it in zeta's hand it goes out. its designed for you to twist the beam part to activate the light. it was a great idea, horrid execution. if you doubt me on the battery put it on a tester, i did. thats why im sure your battery is fine. also when it is lit it looks like ass. otaku you could probably invent a better saber effect

I just pre-ordered this kit this morning from the same shop that I pre-ordered my PG MK-II, which gets delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to get into these two kits!

I love the Zeta Gundam design it really has grown on me.

This is on the list of builds I want to do and I wonder if they'll ever come back and update the kit though I would love others to get a perfect grade. The RX-78GP02A is one I'd love them to do but I can wait on that since Solomon made their own 1/100 kit for that.

That is the most beautiful gunpla I've ever seen in my life. I actually have this kit, but I've never built a perfect grade before and I think after seeing this video I'm going to try doing some painting and maybe even the leds so I'll probably get a few high grades to practice. I want mine to look just like yours.

Even with the small HG grade kits I'll go to that level of detailing. The PG kits, even though they are pretty expensive, the level of fine detailing you can achieve with them is amazing. I'll either use the MG or PG kits for Gundam battle dioramas.

My only issue with my mg 2.0 zeta was the arms not wanting to behave when I set it into wave rider mode after after some loving and double checking it fell into place I was looking forward to this upload thanks again chief.

Yo Otaku, there's a store here in San Antonio called Anime Tokyo that has been getting alot of these PGs in, including the zeta. they have a webstore that ships as well if you ever need an extra store to check before dealing with ebay scalpers. picked up one of the PG Unleashed kits that they just got in today.

Actually, the beam saber LED was originally included with the optional weapon set for the OG PG RX-78-2. Also, did you call the Gundam Mark 2 the "Mach 2"?

Can you make an LED tutorial for someone who knows absolutely nothing about LEDs? people say "just buy LEDs and wire them up" but I'm not sure how many volts or amps and which LEDs to get. I don't know whether or not to wire them in parallel or series. Just a lot that I'm sure people don't know about. Just a thorough tutorial would be awesome, thanks!

The only thing holding me back from the purchase is not knowing how hard it would be to disassemble for painting. I'd hate to never get to painting it because of all the screws and stuff.

So those LED lights for the eyes, arms, legs, boosters and all that, did you buy them separately?

I'm new into gunplas and wanted to know if it's necessary to go through that chore that is the painting on the pieces or it's just a custom thing? I'm kinda a unpacient person but I really want to build a PG gunpla. What's the recommendation, do I stick first on master grades? Is master grades as hard to build as PGs?
