There’s something about the energy at the end that just feels new and revitalised. Not going into this season with any hopes and expectations like last time but something about this new group makes me feel good

An underrated part of Daboll's style is at 13:55 when instead of laughing with the crowd or calling out Ed when he was late on the response, he says "I have to do a better job teaching this thing." A good leader and communicator understands that 99% of communication issues are on behalf of the SENDER not the receiver. In Daboll's head, it wasn't Ed's fault for not paying enough attention, it was HIS fault for not communicating to the point that he couldn't be misunderstood. Talk about a display of selflessness to set the tone. A good leader takes more than their fair share of the blame and less than their fair share of the credit. I think we're seeing exactly that out of our new HC. Really excited for the future of this team!

I can’t even imagine the two weeks Joe Schoen has had. From the hiring process, to the flights with the family, to the endless media interviews, to actually working to hire coaches and restructure, THEN flying down to the Senior Bowl and analyzing players while meeting his new scouting department. SHEESH.

My gut is telling me that we finally made the correct hires a young GM with new age thinking a guy that actually looks like a coach and not like a guy that should be working on wall street

Hell yes! Let’s Go Giants! For all of Gettlemen’s mistakes he did draft some good young players & we do have a solid young talented core. Now we have a new voice & vision in our front office & coaching staff. We have a good young GM & bright Head Coach who have the pulse on the modern game and are talented football guys. We also have an outstanding coaching staff. We have finally set up a great management & coaching team. I am biased as a huge Giants fan, but things just feel different. Schoen & Daboll have an infectious passion & affable nature. I love these behind the scenes videos. That Giants office meeting gave me goosebumps. Daboll was motivating & genuine. I think it’s great when you get everyone involved & communicate with them. It’s important no matter your role to feel like you’re contributing & making a difference. The future is bright. Let’s Go! After several years of offset changes at GM & Head Coach, we finally having a coaching & front office brain trust who have previous working experience together, some proven success & ostensibly a shared vision based on collaboration & a shared philosophy. It was integral that we cleaned house with the Head Coach & GM even if it was unfair. It was needed after making changes at different times which caused issues like continuity, a disconnect problem, & was obviously detrimental to the players especially Daniel Jones. This was sorely needed. Schoen & Daboll are obvious smart, genuine & affable but you can see they work tirelessly, love their job & football & have high standards. They’ve also assembled quite a coaching staff. We have a front office & coaches we can get behind & get excited about. It won’t be back to winning instantly, but I expect them to expect excellence. We will be competitive & back to being Big Blue a lot sooner than you think. It feels relieving to know the Gianrs have assembled a good management team. A team needs to execute, but as we have all painfully learned the past few years, a good football team is competitive when it is constructed properly which it hasn’t been in year. So stoked. Let’s Go! Can’t wait for the draft. This draft is huge for us & I am chomping at the bit to see Schoen & Daboll’s fingerprints start showing up on this roster. We aren’t in the AFC West so I believe it’s plausible to be competitive within a year. In Schoen & Daboll we trust. Go Giants.

I've gone into every off season with such high expectations for the past decade. That's how I know this regime is actually different and that we've entered a new era of Giants football. I'm genuinely intrigued and interested in the process these men bring and not expecting anything. I appreciate ownership allowing them to come in, and do their jobs. This energy cannot be faked. I am so excited and I think so many of us feel it too.

We finally have to guys running the show who are relatable and who are gonna bring the energy and excitement this organization has been needing for such a long time.

So far so good.. Coach hires seem to a definite CHANGE IN PHILOSOPHY…Let’s get to WORK… NYGZZ

What a contrast between Joe, an articulate, intelligent, grateful and seemingly genuinely humble guy, and that antiquated, arrogant, self impressed out of shape blowhard of a GM who just "retired", 4 years too late. I'm also impressed with Daboll, as I think that this duo will make a huge difference in bringing this franchise into the 21st century. Being that it was primarily Tisch that demanded the firing of GI Joe, I'm not going to extend too much appreciation to John Mara, as it's clear to me that he has no capacity for recognizing misfits. Things are looking up folks, let's sit back and watch it unfold. If these guys can transfer their energy, dedication, commitment, and sense of fun to the field, then we'll be back in business before too long.

When I heard him tell the staff "Call me Dabs", I was like We got the right guy with the right personality. Seems like a great human being who is committed but also doesn't take himself too seriously. YOU GOTTA HAVE FUN!!!

As a Giants fan I am super excited to finally see that we are headed in a New Direction, I love the way both the GM and the coach address the entire room and I think as fans we have nothing but good things to look forward to

It’s nice to see Our GM and Dabes lead that room organically. Dabes don’t need that tough guy mentality the previous coach (we don’t speak of him) always put the act on. Everything so far seems genuine and humble. Slowly but surely on our way back to The New York football Giants the rest of the NFL will learn to fear once again. Let’s go giants!!

My biggest takeaway is Brian Daboll goes by "Dabes" and I love it.

I love this team and am so proud they look at players attitude and character as well as their playing abilities. This organization is the best in the business hands down.

Wow..these guys sound like they have it together. Both young, new blodd from guys who are not attached to the Giant's tree. Hopefully, this new directions results in more than 4 wins a season!

The thing I like about the new hires and the direction of the organization is the transparency. For the last several years we saw and heard from the GM at the beginning and end of the season. We didn’t have an inside look into the organization. This is refreshing. And I like that Daboll isn’t making promises. He’s setting up everyone to know, we might have a lot of losses before we turn this think around. I love not hearing “blue collar.” Listen, not every Giants fan is blue collar or identifies as such. Another thing I like about Daboll is he doesn’t seem like he’s going to have us yelling at the screen at post game presser, “Man, what game were YOU watching?!!” But I’m not getting excited. I’ll wait and see.

GIANTS FANS...BREAK!! Gotta love it. Joe is smooth when he talks, so Joe Smooth sounds good. Gotta work on Daboll, but for now he definitely demands the room. Some of the faces in that room seem a bit worried, so hopefully a lot of them can keep their jobs.
