I have one. It's on my nightstand next to my bed. IT DOES WORK!!!! The closer you are to it the more you feel a temperature difference! Its NOT an air conditioner! But it does provide a nice cool airflow that's significantly cooler than without it!!! It will NOT cool a room!!!! Just the immediate proximity of the device!!!!! Works for ME!!!!!!!

I’m in Vegas! I lovvvve mine! Been 117 here 🥵! These are PERSONAL not to cool off rooms! I have mine on wall on shelf that my bed is up against so flows directly onto me! I’m in love with mine!

Hi so I am from the Caribbean and its like 89 to 90 humidity here, I have been to Vegas both in the summer and winter so I have an idea what it's like. You. said u use yours directly on you like a stationary fan. really thinking about getting a few for my apartment but he said its steamed up. Did u ever experience that with your unit?

Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! kzfaq.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I live in Northern Nevada. It works well as a small space cooler here with the low humidity. I don't like to run the house swamp cooler all night so I put one in my bedroom. I can't swear that some of its benefit is as a "white noise" machine which helps me sleep. I put a light towel over it to hide the light.

People too eager to line manufactures pockets for products that fall short . Simply have frozen water filled milk containers on the ready , place em in front of a fan . Years ago I had an RV portable swamp cooler , filled with ice and iced water , worked really great for pets and people heat relief ..

I get hot easy and start to sweat I like it colder then most 15-20 Celsius is what I love it’s enjoyable too me still warm enough to not have to put on a jacket and the nights are cool enough too get a good sleep.

You can gave it much faster. Open your freezzer turn the theemostat into ir and forgot to close the frezzer. Then take your Toj to the dust bin

I just received mine it works fine. It's, cool!! It's good value for money. Point it at you and it might also do the entire room. My advice, use this for keeping cool, take out the plastic paper in the front, just let the air blow through but keep the square plastic box. Put cold water in the top. Ideal for heatwaves. It's to cool YOU and may cool the house eventually. I am not bothering about the filtration aspect, I just want to be cold.

40% is not humid. It is considered dry.

Evaporative air coolers only work in dry heat, if you're in a place with high humidity you will only saturate other materials around you, this is very old technology, and also you have an issue with water usage water is precious. NEXFAN is a personal unit, it seems from some of the posts people aren't listening to what is said in the video

I have just bought one (arrived yesterday). My problem is that the advertising said it was portable and had a battery that could be charged up. So I assumed it would work in my narrowboat without using up precious onboard battery charge. However, not only can’t I see a rechargeable battery (or any battery whatsoever), after leaving it for several hours plugged into a wall socket, when I turned the socket off, the cube turned off too! So NOT PORTABLE nor useful on a boat/caravan that isn’t hooked up to mains electricity. I’ve made a complaint and asked for my money back. Just waiting to see if I get a response. But not holding my breath.

What these coolers do is raise humidity in your room, which in turn lowers your body's sweating capabilities and raises the air's threshhold for heat (humid air can hold more energy) - so these coolers are kinda dumb and only for very short termed cooling.

I agree. It works till you have cold water inside. When the water temperature raised to room temperature level, it won't decrease the room temperature

A normal fan would work better like 10x better. put a block of ice in front of your fan for better effect. waste of money. period.

Only thing fans won’t do is control the humidity but they work to evaporate your sweat and keep you cool

They are pointless not worth the money. Just save up and save your money and buy a proper static or proper portable air conditioner that runs on refrigerant gas. Water evaporative air conditioners shouldn’t be even be called air conditioners because they are a poor substitute for the real thing. You know what a friend of mine done about 5 years ago. Went to a scrap yard bought a car for like $100 took the air conditioner system out and rigged it up. Cost him about another $100 for extra piping and fans and motor and he had a very good air conditioner for around $200. If you really really want one and your savvy with electronics or have a mechanic friend you can have a real working air conditioner for around the same price. He also built a generator from a washing machine and it uses with the water that flows down the creek next to his house costs him nothing to run it at all not a penny. He’s very industrious.
