My audio equipment is the most expensive component of my PC setup. Sony HT-A3000 (sound bar for games and movies). 2- PreSonus Eris E4.5 S-monitors (for music). Main Headsets for 2023: Maxwell, SS Arctis Pro/Pro Wireless; all at one desk. I switch up on headsets a lot depending on the game. The AceZone seem competent; not exactly my use case scenario. I play more RPG's, open world and story driven games. I think they cost a bit much for what they bring to the table.

I am using Logitech Z906 5.1 system paired with B&W Satellite speakers & Audeze Mobius as a back up

My audio setup is about as expensive as my current GPU, but in the last 3 years that I have owned this particular gaming PC, I have spent probably almost as much in audio overall as I did in the PC itself.

Does the A-spire and A-rise sound the same? Do they have the same specs in term of drivers and sound? If so the a-spire is a no brainer for me. Dont need all that noise cancelation

Audeze Maxwell vs VZR model one vs these ones... thoughts?

I own the acezone spire. The overall sound quality is not great compared to Audeze Maxwell or even the Stealth Pro (I have both of those as well) having said that, the directional audio cues I get in FPS (warzone 2) is un paralleled. I can hear and know instantly if someone is above, below. It’s wild and I’ve gone through SO many headsets for better FPS audio cues and this one takes the cake for me.

I’ve not tried these headsets yet, but I’ve tried and tested tons of others and as someone who really understands audio on a professional level and also very good at FPS games, here’s what I think on gaming audio Some headsets and headphones really do make a difference in games, but only to a certain extent For wireless I’m using the SteelSeries Nova 7 and I’ve recently tuned the EQ to the one Sonar has implemented in the GG Engine, which gives you tuning on specific frequencies for footsteps in Call of Duty and they have different EQ’s for different FPS games. I can honestly say that with this new EQ the the footsteps are insanely good in Call of Duty and when you add the overall great imaging the Nova 7 has, it’s seriously best headset for its price and I’ve used and compared far more expensive set ups with the Nova 7 and the Nova 7 was a winner every time. Let’s also not forget out of the box the Nova 7 already has almost perfectly accurate bass and mids as well People go on about the Audeze Maxwell for example, imaging on that is just ok, nothing special and planar magnetic drivers are known to be prone to driver mismatch I think everyone also needs to understand that no matter how good your audio set up is, it also depends on how good and reliable the game sound engine is. Call of Duty sound engine is really good when it works properly, but it’s very inconsistent and it’s the same with most games I’ll try these Acezone headsets and I’m sure they’re really good, but I can almost guarantee I’ll use them for a while and decide they’re definitely not worth that price In my opinion the best games to test headsets for how good the imaging is for footsteps and general directional cues are battle royale games, because they’re not chaotic like multiplayer and you’ll have time to listen and understand, unlike multiplayer games where it’s constant chaos and tons of footsteps all around you and no matter how good your audio set up is, it will still be confusing most of the time in multiplayer

Hi man, you need to help me on this.... I"ve been using a wireless Logitech Pro X wireless headset for my fps games and this is the worst headset i've ever had. I've been playing fps comptetive on high level few years ago and then i used Sennheiser CX100 in ears wired. For me in ears always win above headset because the crystal clear sound, comfort, and i heard everthing from footsteps, enemies above and below, everthing! Now i've been thinking about IEM's or upgrading to a headset with an amp/dac but i have no experience with this. I need to upgrade my setup! 😁

I can't comment on the headsets as I haven't used them but that branding..."AceZone", sounds like something a 10 year old would come up with and would immediately make me think these were some cheap, shoestring-budget, crappy gamer gear you find in the likes of Home Bargains.

I got a used steelseries gen 2 dac with a h6 pro from epos on sale for $99 + $79.99 for the dac.

i suspect these would be useless in call of duty as most player run around with that stupid silence perk that they introduced. it should not be a permanent perk, it should be a regen perk at most

Well shooting ai is good cause they are loud. Real players probably crouch walk. I’ve seen some sneaky stuff on fps games. Some guys just lay down. 1 guy with walls usually runs around killing players 😂

Next level? Next level price maybe. Things like this are misleading as they are sponsored videos and gain traction with misleading titles. Nothing about this headset is differentiating it from all the others as “next level”

As someone who loves gaming? I'm sure many would agree they don't want to spend over half a month's paycheck on a headset. And that's the $320 one. I firmly believe that is NOT a good price point. I could understand audio-technica's expensive headsets, but those are audiophile headphones. Not gaming.

I have no problem dropping serious money on my pc setup. I currently have the highest teir components in my pc right and run at 4k. I love good audio. But it's so subjective. I've tried 1000 dollar headphones and they sounded good. But I was also just as happy with something like the maxwells or hell even the corsair HS80 Max (after I tuned it) Great review though techne 🫡
