This is all guessing but I may understand the way Rushia's brother acts. My parents are the type to interrogate us, half-silently judge and tell / "suggest" what to do, which makes me not want to tell them about my life stuff, so the way I act towards them is kind of reserved, cold and defensive with an annoyance constantly waiting to surface. So, I feel much more open around my siblings, we mutually understand our parents' judgemental ways and know not to be like that. There's just more actual empathy. Also, for some reason we siblings were never very close to each other in childhoold/teens, we were more competitive against each other, but now at a bit later age I'm more interested to know them better.

@@Jeorshy Rushia uses 'Rushia' instead of a more standard gender pronoun like Watashi/Atashi to refer to herself, which is actually a common trait among hololivers. Subaru, Shion, and Pekora refer to themselves in 3rd person, while some of the others like Noel, Marine, Fubuki, Ayame use a different appellation (Danchou, Senchou, Shirakami, Yo). The exact reason behind this isn't clear but it probably helps them separate their vtuber personas from their actual selves. For these vtubers, using watashi is actually a slip in character (you can hear Rushia correcting herself from 'watashi' to 'Rushia' at 1:04) and a sign that they are speaking more as their actual selves. Noel has done something similar before when speaking about her own brother.

This is the bright side to siblings that makes me feel happy for others who know that bond. Only child here. There are many times I see people who say they hate their siblings or how their siblings hate them. Even how the parents made the other sibling their favorite making the relationship even worse. But when I hear and see that siblings actually do care for each other, basically viewing their sibling as their bestfriend. I feel happy for them
