He is our best player indeed, but not the most loved one, Casemiro, Raphinha and Vini Jr are probably the ones who the people like most... Marquinhos as well. Sadly some people dislike Thiago Silva and Alisson due to previous WCs (TS on 2014 and Alisson on 2018). But Neymar is almost like 5 out of 10 people hates the guy and the rest either love him or at least doesn't hate him. I do not hate him, but I think he could be better, and of course he is far from our past legends that were both magnificent on field and outside the fiels (few exceptions like Robinho that is a Criminal rn). But Kaká, Ronaldo, Adriano, Rivaldo, Zico, Pelé, Garrincha, Romário... These guys are all loved. Ronaldinho as well but he got arrested due to fake passaport and this made him lose some reputation, but still far more loved than Neymar

Ney pode ter tido uma maior projeção quando jovem, mas projeção de pouco adianta quando se olha a carreira como um todo. Se for assim então eu digo que Shevchenko foi melhor que Luis Suarez porque eu gostava mais dele. Ou mais que o Gerd Muller e Van Basten. Óbvio que não diria isso, pois sei separar os jogadores que gosto e o que fazem. Neymar é facilmente TOP 10 de todo o século XXI, mas ele caiu justamente com os 2 melhores do século na mesma geração dele, e nem no melhor ano dele (2015) ele chegou perto. Tanto CR7 quanto Messi além de ter a mesma qtd de gols na Champions (10) participaram mais de 20 gols que ele no resto da temporada. Ainda tem gente que teima que ele merecia ganhar a bola de ouro em 2015. 🤣🤣🤣

But as pure skills/Dribbling, Neymar is still behind Ronaldinho, Garrincha and Maradona... I would say he is better than Messi os skills but worst on pure dribbling
