That duckegg blue is a real throwback to the 60s. Very evocative of British industry at the time.

I lived through the 1960''s and let me assure you that duck-egg blue was the absolute antithesis of that era as far as watches were concerned. So, where's your evidence for this?

I owned one of these recently. I couldn’t seem to escape the feeling I was wearing a fashion watch, which I know is ridiculous as specs are pretty good and dimensions perfect.

I like they way you describe some things. "Rockabilly" "Stirring air" and "creamy" were highlights. Especially impressive since I assume English was not your first language. Thanks for the review on this watch. Thinking about this vs a Seiko Speedtimer. I'd prefer some additional WR in this one. They also had a hard time marrying the bracelet end links with those dramatic downturned lugs.

Always loved the Nezumi style but must be challenging for a microbrand competing in markets where mecaquartz now sells nearer the 100 mark.

I’m not a fan of Jubilee bracelets, so I would go for the leather strap version. I like mechaquartz, but I think that solar quartz would be better.

Completely understand the praise and excitement around this Nezumi release. It's designed well and just quite fun yet wearable. For me, however, the quartz, chronograph complication, and style make it quite easy to pass on. It's not for me, and that's OK and doesn't detract from the great design.

@CasebackWatches it's a line from a very unfunny 80s sitcom (UK) called "Sorry!" starring Ronnie Corbett as our hero named Timothy. His father would always say "language Timothy" (to canned laughter) when the aforementioned Timothy said something that Papa thought a little risqué (definitely not "bloody"). I still find it hard to acknowledge that it ran for seven seasons.

A couple of issues, way over priced for a quartz. I emailed them with a couple of easy questions, all of which they blew off. They half answered one of my questions, and ignored my other questions. I would assume they would respond in the same unacceptable fashion if the watch had a quality problem. Buyer beware !
