Whewwww.. I’ve been outside on the porch chillin and listening to NF, and while this song has been playing, I felt the Holy Spirit here with me. I’ve been staring at this tree that has lost its leaves, and as I was reminded of a post I’d earlier seen on Facebook, I was thinking about how the tree is not dead, just going through changes, and it will grow again and the leaves will come back, but new. As I thought the word change, the lyrics of this song mirrored my thoughts, and I felt the presence of God all over. And then I seen a comment referencing the lyric mentioning suicide and talking to God, and again, the Holy Spirit surrounded me in a wave. I will always love your music, man. And I’m so thankful for it, and for God working through people. Music and poetry have always been a lifeline for me, and now that I have Christ I’ve learned to rely on God and to feel the music instead of looking for it to save me. I do want to thank you again, and I pray the Lord always makes known to you His everlasting love. WOOO!🙌🏼♥️💯

I remember I first discovered NF back in 2019 and loved every song. I relate to a lot of his music due to my own childhood but this song is special. I’m not religious but this is the first time I’ve ever felt a connection to a god. Whatever you choose in the future, weather you rap until your 83 or stop soon, thank you. You truly helped me though the rough times in my life and connected me to things I never thought I’d be connected to before; A community of people who are like me, god, you.
