I've been for a while now. Trying to pay for 3 different households for almost 5 years now. I'm at a point where it feels like I am drowning and can't see relief in sight. Many times I have thought about ending it all, but then I'd be abandoning family who are struggling just to pay bills, let alone live life. I can't do that to them. I suffer so others don't have to.

Connor Jensen ok, fine, you guys are right, and I apologize, I should’ve never been so disrespectful. but, can I at least ask, what do you think is so brilliant about this song? I mean, I think the song is good, but to label it brilliant is sort of a reach to me. and again, I’m sorry, I should’ve just asked why instead of coming off so rude.
@frank54804 жыл бұрын
Savannah Scavarda okay, I personally don’t think that NF wasn’t actually dissing Em on this song, or any song in general. he’s always dissed the industry, and that’s exactly what he’s doing on this song. and he would’ve made it clearer if he actually did diss him.
@garlic69694 жыл бұрын
@@frank5480 lol no worries mate! It's all in good fun. I love a good trash talker myself. But to answer your question why I think it's so good is mostly do to cultural differences. As a white dude I find most rap music unrelatable. First off I cant sing the lyrics myself because I'm not a "nigguh/nigga" with me being white and all. Those words are used as a personal pronoun in most parts of a song which is fine but with today's cultural atmosphere if a white person is caught saying/singing its frowned upon. Also I cant relate to growing up in the hood, gangs, guns, the dielect of talking, cops profiling me, inner city life etc. I understand that black rappers are all rapping about their own life experiences but there is a cultural gap that makes it almost impossible to connect to on a personal level if you are suburban white. However NF raps mostly about human emotions and the human experience as a whole which I find that both blacks and whites can relate to. His music is lyrically clean which makes it easy to repeat outload without having to worry about children being present, nor without shame of offending others. Tbh I find the flow with this song to be really catchy to my personal taste in music. The search is getting more attention because of the music video, and when I grow up, but I just wanted others to like this song as much as I do and I thought a music video like his other more popular songs would be a good avenue.

That's absurd. NF has a completely different style than EM in tracks, flows, lyrics, etc.. NF is always about passionate emotion. EM is always about anger, or alpha dogging. Also, NF long ago stated he hates that people compare him to EM. Where Em did disrespect him in Kamikaze saying that he is an "NF'ing recovery clone". NF struggles with mental issues. Em struggled with drugs, and still does with ego.

Dear NF, I attended your concert last night at Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado. The performance was absolutely phenomenal. Near the end of the performance, right before the encore, I tossed up a desert camo patch on the stage. The patch is for the left arm of the desert camouflage uniform. I felt that I needed to leave it for you as a symbol of myself, and others like me, who are still here because your music has shown us that we are not alone. I have lost far too many Brother's and Sister's, upwards of 22 a day. The problem is so bad that the VA is now requesting that we check the VA parking lots for our family in crisis. Some were sent home in flag draped coffins, while others were consumed by their personal darkness and ended it all, and some wander around a shell of who they once were. Since I have discovered your music, starting with Mansion, I have been encouraging other Veteran's to listen as well. I know a patch is not much of a thank you, but thank you for helping me to become better, and for the message that your music contains that help so many others. You are truly a blessing, Sir. May your life be showered with love and light for our creator God!

Proud NF fan moment: So I was at a red light, blasting this song full volume, windows down, my Sub was going crazy.. a kid (probably 15-16) rode up next to me on his skateboard, and tried getting my attention. So I turned the music down, and asked what he wanted. He said “Hey is that NF?” I replied and told him yes. He then asked “what’s the name of that song? It sounds dope” I gave him the name and he thanked me and said that he’s going to have to run home and check it out.. that moment gave me hope for the younger generation coming up, just knowing that there is still kids out there that are into good music, and that they actually care about the words and flows in a song, not just the beat!

I’ve actually always wondered why NF is not a household name (literally none of my family or friends know who he is besides ‘Let You Down), and then I realized he had beef with Eminem and it made more sense. I love Eminem, he’s my favorite artist, but NF is great. I was so confused on why he wasn’t more mainstream, and the Eminem beef really put the puzzle pieces together a little more.
