Liked your reaction! NF is an amazing artist i think more people needs to hear, his music is really honest and emotional. Hear more from him and you will notice that he has a lot of styles (he sings too). React to Hate Myself or Nate (both from his new album).

I really enjoyed your guys reaction. I loved that you also related him to Chester because not many other people can see that connection with the relatable music, raw emotion thing until I point it out. This song is definitely more of an intro. If you're looking for the verse chorus verse type structure check out Change, My Stress, Only, When I Grow Up. There's a few more actually. Those are just my favorites personally. When I Grow Up has a really cool music video to go with it that adds another layer of depth to it that I think you guys should check out. He has an option for subtitles if you still want lyrics since they are the focus of his music. There's also videos for a few other songs. I don't want to overwhelm you with a bunch of nf requests so I'll just leave it with I hope you guys react to more of his The Search album and you have my support

Not really into rap, however this song was pretty good. Remind me of old style rap, like Grand Master Flash. Good reaction, I liked the discussion.

DukesRocks I wasn't really into rap either, then I started to listen to NF's songs. I first found his song "WHY" and it just went on and on until now where I listen to him on a daily basis. His songs have pretty deep meaning if you go through and listen to them, which is one part that I do really like.

Let me tell yall about emotionally draining loll 18 songs is A LOT. Considering, NF's album based off his energy, mental health, and personal experience... it sure is one heck of a ride. Tho i like the beats and his lyricism, I'm bias for his vocal chords. That dude can sing. Iwould like to give full stars but cant recommend anyone who can get easily depressed. But like. I very much appreciated NF and his staffs all their hardwork and dedication in to this album. It's amazing.

JUDY GARLAND, please ... these are beautiful, historical (non-PC by today's standards) songs that were celebrated in their time. My hope is that everyone can still appreciate the amazing talent that this woman was, regardless of what song, in those bygone days, she sang. "Rockabye Your Baby (with a Dixie melody)" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eLqRkrmFlqenp4k.html "Swanee" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kJlxgqybl73NeIE.html (also) From A STAR IS BORN: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gtl3rMp-3JaRf4U.html "San Francisco" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qbmiZ5qnrrveaWg.html "Old Man River" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a62Fg5qT2Kq0iJs.html "Smile" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fMiGbJCTr6e-l4k.html "Get Happy" kzfaq.info/get/bejne/p52UY7GDyt3eh2g.html "Get Happy / Happy Days are Here Again" (Duet with Barbra Streisand) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i952qbR2xtTVkoU.html

4 no bleeps. If all rap was like this I would like the genre more. Lyrically complex, interesting music. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a prude, but you’re right about a crutch. Back in the day, cuss words were sometimes used to shock ( language restrictions were IMHO, too restrictive back then). However today, Pandora’s box has been opened and those words have lost their power. Anyway my take. Have a nice MF’ing day. Ps, for a good use of appropriate...inappropriate language see Spock’s Beard song ‘FU/I’m Sorry’ on the ‘Water’ suite. Very powerful.

Came from the Justin Bieber video. I like the discussion, but I feel like most points were made off the ignorance of contemporary hip hop culture. The underlying assumption that rap isn’t music is really writing off the potential appreciation that could be made for a whole branch of music in modern hip hop. For this channel specifically I think a lot of trap music can be appreciated with the different types of production used by producer or vocal inflections from rappers.

Rap is, in a large way, responsible for the dumbing down of modern music. Not my thing. I can appreciate it as an art form, but it just doesn't move me like I think good music should.
@sumthin0riginal988
@sumthin0riginal988 4 жыл бұрын
I don't think its fair to to say that rap is responsible for the dumbing down of music. People said the same thing about rock n roll when that came out too and they, like you, were generalizing the whole genre with it. That's not to say there isn't music in the hip hop/rap genre that you can say is responsible for "dumbing down" music. But there's also music that I think takes a deeper level of thinking to get the message that the artist is trying to portray in their songs that can be just as moving. And the same can be said for rock. Or any genre. Not every genre of music is for everybody but maybe come with more of an open mind instead of dismissing the entire genre just because a part of it isn't up to your standards. And if it's not for you that's cool but that doesn't mean it's not moving or good music to someone else. Idk. I may be overreacting to your comment a bit but in the end music is music, good and bad is subjective to each individual, and while I respect your opinion, I personally disagree. And that's all i really wanted to say. Have a good day
