Holly sh** how big they are! It's US, so it's normal. Here in Spain we also have some big stadiums. The new Real Madrid's stadium it's going to be magestic. I wish I could go to the US and watch some NFL, MLB and NBA game in the future :)

Crazy how Chicago was the second biggest football market at the time Soldier Field was renovated, and they made it the smallest capacity stadium in the league. Just goes to show you its all about the luxury boxes.

Yea soccer will never surpass football here, the men’s team could go undefeated and win the whole tournament and it still wouldn’t be as big as football or basketball here, or baseball. The country will support the team ofc but the sport wouldn’t take off

I hate to say it but American stadiums tend to put European stadiums to shame. Our flashiest stadium in the UK is Tottenham's new stadium and that still pales in comparison to the Mercedes Benz stadium.

@@fcp2004 Allianz Arena is by far the best of your bunch. Camp Nou is crumbling, impressive only because of its scale. There's nothing like the AT&T or the Mercedes Benz arena,or any of these insane high tech super stadiums in Europe. Europe doesn't have 'by far the best' stadiums, unless you're being biased, which I'm not given that I live in Europe.

Most of these stadiums were built with taxpayer money; whereas European stadiums weren't, as far as I know. I'd rather have a not-so-flashy stadium than have to pay for a billionaire owner to have one built.

@@xxcallofdoodyxx So shouldn't these billionaire owned clubs produce better stadiums then? Given that in theory they should have more funds available to build flashy stadiums than taxpayers who shouldn't want to spend too much money on extravagant luxuries. Either way, European stadiums look so poor in comparison. American stadiums are built in the style of modern cathedrals or colisseums whereas European stadiums are mostly given extensions on very old, crumbling stadiums. If new stadiums are built, they're not very inspired. Tottenham's stadium looks good buy European standards yet still pales in comparison to the Mercedes Benz stadium.
