I’m guessing the argument is he didn’t fully give himself up with that awkward slide. Definitely looked like a flag to me though 😂

@@DS-qz2gu it was awkward, but he was on the ground for like a full second and a half before he got hit 😂 he was at hip level on that dude.. I know Murray is short, but the defender had to know that wasn't normal lol

Looked like they were all trying to speed run their way to CTE. The hits in that game all made a different noise than the rest.. it was like a solid "clack" noise, not even a normal shoulder pad pop 😅 That shit was brutal. I'm glad our backups were in 🙃

I'm probably just super ignorant on the specifics of rules, but aren't hits from behind like some of those supposed to be against the rules? Swear I've seen hits like some of those flagged.

Fields is ALWAYS getting smoked, and hit late, and it almost NEVER gets called. I'm not even a Bears fan, but I hate seeing how often that happens

That first clip was such a textbook example for any future ball carriers on how to drop their shoulder, brace for contact, and steamroll any defender who might think they are about to make an easy tackle

Maybe because I'm British, but I'll never get the over the top reaction to making a standard tackle. That's your job. I played rugby for years - my own team mates would give me stick for that kind of reaction to a tackle! And this is not USA bashing - I enjoy watching NFL. Just different cultures I guess. 🙂

The Fields one was not a flag, he consistently slides too late. The Kyler Murray hit looked really late however

@bloodorange6713 Fields doesn't slide late? This has been an issue his whole career. Early on he'd slide late and he learned to time it better. Dude can't catch a break. Idc if you think he's a good QB or not, he deserves the same respect from the officials as every other QB.

That hit on Justin Fields was not illegal im glad they did not call it. Either get out of bounds or expect to take a hit, knowing he can slide in under a second and be safe is ridiculous
