Very underrated game. I love how it would zoom in on the action. If you had the ball on a running play and hit a hole good it would seem like you really read the blocking good

The spin move was unstoppable... used to just mash spin move on kick returns for days and take it to the house!!

Half back pass and the fake field goal on 1st down never failed. He would say, "Houston lines up for the field goal, on the first down, and I can't believe it."

I remember there was one punt return play where you could kite the entire defense into following you all over the field and then just run it in for a TD.

Two things that stand out to me about this game: 1) there was no shedding tackles; you get hit, you’re going down. 2) “Wide open down field… Interception!”

It went from being impossible to move the ball with NFL Sports Talk Football, to super easy with that speed burst on NFL 94. But still I loved this game. Favorite teams were Washington and San Diego because they both had a heavy jumbo four tight end formation I'd just run all day in.

Played this game so much. The spin move was unstoppable. I could score on every play. It was just a matter of who I wanted to get the stats. There was even a glitch (?) where you could block every FG attempt. Basically just control the RDE and slant inside. Block it every time.

If memory serves pass INT [via FS] on deep passes was not called as long as your DB caught/intercepted it, which was almost always as he'd be wide open. Many ridiculously lopsided 80-0 games.

Passes are hard to do on this game, also it should have had an option to kneel down to close out game, other than that its a cool game

They should come out with a bonus online add that would give you retro commentation on a newer game or drop it on a VR headset & call it VR Bowl...retrobowl fashion but in your face all around football action

Richard Lawler I guess you aren’t a Detroit fan because they had plenty of damn good players in 93 Herman Moore. Brett Permiman. Chris speilman. Robert porcher. Bennie blades. Ray crocket. Mel gray. lomas brown. They made the playoffs that year hell they were a couple years removed from only NFC championship in team history. Barry was huge but they had other talent. Lions teams now are trash.

I played with the lions (Barry Sanders, Run and Shoot) and would beat the computer 70-0 on the highest level. I guarantee you I was the best in the world at one point
