"The Chiefs are just fun to watch" is quite true, and it epitomizes Lamar Hunt's vision of what a football game should be: A spectacle. An entertainment extravaganza to counterpoint the seriousness of the competition. And Florio didn't even realize it, making his compliment even better. Go figger.

The best thing that could have happened to mahommes was to get drafted by KC. Great organization, great coach, mahommes got to sit behind Alex Smith and learn for a year. I'm a chiefs fan since 1970. The best thing that ever could have happened was draft mahommes

Note that even Michael Jordan took a few years before he started winning championships. I would say that Mahomes has had the greatest start to a career of any athlete in the major American sports. The question is whether he can maintain the longevity to surpass the others.

He without question is off to the best start of anyone in NFL history. The only seven year start in American sports that might be better is Wayne Gretzky who had seven MVPs, which is utterly hilarious, and a title.

Trust me, no one is taking advantage of Pat. Whatever is happening in KC it's because it's what Pat wants. "Andy isn't being paid enough! He's being taken advantage of!" Look, Mike, I get that you hate billionaires and rich people but Andy will be taken care of. That man's getting a raise when he feels he deserves it. His whole staff just got raises. As a Chief's fan, as much as I don't care for Florio, he and Simns got it right on this one. Chief's get it done in a way that no one else has seen before in football. It's very exciting to watch innovation in real time. Goes to show, there are several ways to winning in the NFL these days. That should give everyone hope.

He doesn't realize or care that the average family of 4 can't afford to go to one game unless they trade a week long trip for a football game. He hasn't a clue. Sad part is his audience is the everyday person who doesn't make the kind of money who can only, if possible, go to one game a season. We went to a game 3 yrs ago & it cost & $1450

Florio, you're the one making up the retirement rumors. Anyone that's telling you Reid is thinking about retiring is a total joke and a hack. Also Clark hunt has a net worth of 2 billion, as far as owners go, he's pretty 'poor' for an owner. If Andy accepts a 12m per year contract, then that tells me he's okay with it. Why would you take less if you are unhappy with it? He would ask for more if he wanted more.

@@mvpfocus No, it's not. You look it up. You only add an apostrophe to the end if it's a plural or collective noun that ends with 's'. Mahomes is one person, so the possessive form is "Mahomes's".

From Proofed: Last Names Ending in s This is where things get a little more complicated, but we can simplify the rules for you. To make names such as Banks, Rivers, and Holmes possessive, we have a choice. We can just add an apostrophe at the end of the name, like this: Emily Banks’ daughter loved riding motorcycles. Jason Rivers’ luggage was lost by the airline. Or we can add an apostrophe and another s, as follows: Jane Homes’s shoes are always clean and shiny. Matt Jones’s monster truck blocked the road.

So, I think you're projecting who is getting it wrong. Either way, if you have a choice, why would you choose to be redundant, when you don't have to? That's a rhetorical question; obviously you prefer doing it the other way. But hopefully now you will stop trying to _correct_ people, since the example in the title isn't an error, in the first place.

I had disdain for patriots fans during their run. After watching my Chiefs get their rings, I now firmly believe fans should talk as much trash as they can while theyre on top. It's just a game we all watch for fun, and everyones run will end at some point.
