New performance requirements for SCBAs and PASS devices in the 2013 revision of the NFPA 1981 and NFPA 1982 standard. This video explains some of the minor design changes that Dräger's SCBAs had to undergo to fulfill these new requirements.

So you switched from the PMMA/acrylic lens, or was it polycarbonate lens? Now you make the lens out of a hardened silica glass?
