Hello! Welcome to the 9th video of my playthrough, where I defeat Darius!
As a surprise, there will be one more video (just to make it an even number to satisfy me lol), which will be completing the Challenge Series.
Again, I'd like to apologise for any audio stutters you may have experienced in my playthrough. I was using OBS' new application audio capture, so it would only record the audio of NFSC.exe (The feature is still in beta, so I can understand if it doesn't work properly yet, its just about time they finally made this a feature!)

I am playing Need for Speed Carbon from my DVD install, with a patched exe of course, so it can run on Windows 10. I also have a few mods installed (Widescreen Patch, Beta UI, Car Engine Sound Mod and NFS Heat-style Barriers to name a few)
Nothing that affects the car performance/physics of the game. Mainly visual/audio mods are installed.

That's awesome, and thank you! I realised I had never beaten Darius & crew with a Subaru before so I decided to do so in my playthrough :)

@@Hazzerooni you can try to use manual and shift on redlines also try to avoid wall hits that way you can enjoy the game more.

@@jayrodriguez439 I haven't played the game in manual for a very long time, so that could be interesting, yes. Avoiding hitting walls though, not sure if I can do that lol

@@Hazzerooni Well I know for a fact you can maybe try dodge charger rt tier 2 beats every car in the game if you tune engine and transmission to horsepower and top speed and for the suspension to full oversteering on the left and leave tires and brakes in the middle tune nitro to full velocity and for engine at higher rpm you'll be surprised it beats every ai car on straight line lol you can slip stream hard turns too like an exotic and tuner if you use engine brake and clutch.

Much appreciated! And yes I always forget to turn this off 😅, I just enjoy the music too much. I've already had to deal with one copyright issue in the video (silence from 7:05 to 7:23) and I will deal with any more in the future if they arise

@@Hazzerooni Mostly, I'm not getting used to the EA Trax™ during the free roam, but I played the original soundtracks in this game while in the races, pursuits and customization.

I will always respect someone who doesnt use the viper or corvette to make it noticeably harder, even tho the viper is my favorite car from this game, also quick question which is better subaru or lancer?

@@kucuaf yeah maybe the better question would be skyline or supra vs subaru since the lancer is the best tuner car in carbon based on acceleration plus the handling, acceleration mainly just because all the tuners had great handling yet some had poor acceleration

For my opinion, as much as I love Subaru's, the Lancer is better in this game. The acceleration (where tuners are concerned) is decent, and the handling is out of this world (in a good way). As for your other question, I'd say the Skyline is better vs the Supra or Subaru

@@Hazzerooni i feel your pain the subaru didnt shine like it supposed to in performance in both games mw and carbon and its my favorite tuner of all time, im glad you can do some sick runs with it in nfs world (soapbox race world) with it hopefully we will get at least an overpowered subaru in the next nfs but either way nice drving skils and car choices 💯💯💯 i will subscribe
