NOTE: I ripped the composed songs from the game files and put a lot of effort trying to organize every part of the song, listening in-game and attempting to fit each part with the next. They don't sound as great as the released album versions, but they're still good. Hope you like them :)

Not only that, the music helps the player move on from their past as a notorious outcast racing on an east coast city (Rockport) who had to get their ride back from an arrogant cheater (Razor), especially by committing multiple crimes, prior to reclaiming their hometown (Palmont City), clearing their name from a vengeful ex-cop (Cross), and regaining their reputation upon learning that their old friend (Darius) betrayed them in order to steal the prestige that they envy.

Axel Nuñez mine with tuners Kenji: Ez clap passed him after exiting the Tunnel on Lookout Point in the Rx8 btw Angie: kinda hard still eventually passed her almost wasn’t able to cuz I got to the straight at 63-70% Where Angie usually makes the most distance on you on Copper Ridge. Wolf: Meh Passed him at 32 percent on Golden Valley Run. Darius: a fucking Joke flew passed him at 63% In my Evo 9. With Exotics Wolf: harder then my tuner race against him was able to pass him at 50% Kenji: Kenji who? Eat the tire smoke of the Boaty Sl65 Amg The Scorpios and Rotor 4 And Yumi as an opponent was harder then Kenji passed him in a matter of seconds. Angie: Medium was able to outpace and pass her before the Cooper Ridge straight. Darius: Passed him in the Gallardo in one of the most inconvenient places on Eternity Pass At 49% which is the tightest section of the S Curves before the sweeper Corner at 63% where I passed Darius in my Tuner playthrough was super risky but it paid off. Muscle still in progress in Sliverton currently Angie: Kinda of Challenging barely was able to pass her on the Cooper Ridge straight Wolf: was able to pass him and keep the lead for the 10 second count on the Last 30 percent of Golden Valley Run before Crossing the finish line Kenji: How does it feel getting passed by Angie’s removed boss vinyl from her classic Charger.

If u use 240SX, u can easily overtake Kenji, Angie, and Wolf in first turn. And for Darius u can use skyline or dodge viper if you can handle it easily (bcoz viper is too oversteer). I use that car and i can overtake him in first turn

Muscle cars are best at handling so its actually easier, Try driving a Carrera GT down a curvy canyon going 180 MPH.

@@somabomadoma if you drive a muscle car, they are slower but handle better. But if you drive a Exotic Car, they are faster and handle like shit. So you will probably hit the wall or fly off the canyon

The Viper and the Corvette were absolutely op, both considered to be muscle cars in game (lmao) so they had mental acceleration and top speed but unlike the other muscle cars they could actually corner very well

Is it weird that I found the muscle cars the easiest to use in the canyons? Exotics were fast but never caught up to the opponent and had very bad handeling. Tuners were lacking in speed, but could still stay with the opponent and their handeling was good, but maybe even too good as I felt I couldn't take a turn in the right way. Muscle cars maybe lack in both speed and handeling, but that made the handeling just perfect and it could catch up to and overtake the opponent very easily (besides Darius) due to amazing acceleration.

i completed the game countless times and i gotta tell you, all cars are really doable (depending your opponents car tier), pure skills and pure speed, i finished off darius with kenji’s rx7 and thats it

Uma coisa que eu notei sobre o Carbon é que esse jogo é muito sombrio, provavelmente o jogo de corrida mais sombrio que eu já joguei na minha vida Não por ele ter fantasmas ou sangue, mas sim pela atmosfera, diferente de tudo que NFS já tinha apresentando, o Carbon era algo bem mais... sei lá, cinza. Não era coloridinho, com neons e coisas assim. Era bem mais cinzento, algo mais sem vida, não sei explicar. E ainda tinha essas corridas no canyon, imagina isso na vida real, você sem nitro e sem tráfego, no meio de uma montanha, com curvas fechadas e difíceis lá no alto, onde qualquer errinho que você fizer é fatal, pq você vai cair com seu carro no meio da escuridão e vai morrer enquanto ele é destruído, e mesmo se você sobreviver, você vai estar gravemente ferido e não vai conseguir implorar e gritar por ajuda no meio da escuridão... é algo tão... sei lá, depressivo. Não falando que o Carbon é ruim, ele é um jogo excelente, mas ele tem um vibe meio de "Um erro, um simples erro, e tudo está acabado" ou algo assim, bizarro demais.

O Carbon era pra ter neons nos carros, mas decidiram remover porque viram que não combinava muito bem com a atmosfera do jogo, esse é o meu NFS favorito por causa dessa atmosfera morta, abandonada e sombria, é um jogo mais sério se comparado com os outros

Yeah, the mountain route in The Run is perfect to incorporate Carbon’s canyon themes because it gives you the atmospheric vibe of quickly making your way down to the bottom and surviving.

Carbon is a sequel to Most Wanted, so the music from the former contain parts that are reminiscent to the latter’s score. Also, 2 out of the 4 MW’s pursuit themes are used in Carbon.
