@@Nick_MG it’s alright tbh, it’s not horrible but it’s not the best; the nos doesn’t feel powerful and the cars sometimes feel kinda slow. That might just be the slow-paced animation style tho. Overall it’s mediocre. (Just my opinion)

@papastalin1543 You mean unbound? (Edit: I just found out NFS Nitro exists the rest is my thoughts on unbound.) Yeah, honestly don't blame you. I played it, and there's certainly good, but all the characters are obnoxious hyper-unique weirdos or barely there. The whole car list is basically a copy aside from the couple new cars that honestly didn't make playing worth it. The map is empty and really boring. Adding more pedestrians helped a little but nfs heat had a lot better structure

The story was the best in the Ghost era, but compared to Heat, in terms of gameplay & overall content (thanks to updates, unlike Heat) Unbound is my fav so far (Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed Heat quite a lot)

@bobmarley6306 Crashing into stuff in the fastest cars in the game is not a real sense of speed. Its an uncontrollable mess. I've seen compilations of how bad the online is. Its ridiculous. If you want a real sense of speed, then play the OG most wanted.

@therealistmf2825 I grew up playing Underground 2 and Most Wanted 2005 along with Burnout Revenge and Paradise, I also played a lot of NFS Heat and thoroughly enjoyed that game's sense of speed. I've just started unbound and so far I feel it has a very good sense of speed partly due to the brake light trails and animated effects.

@bobmarley6306 i do think that unbound did do well with the brake light trails and the animated effects, but with the cars you get even midway through the game, they feel slow. Only the fastest car's actually have a sense of speed and even then the speed isn't used to its greatest potential like MW 05 did. Cops aren't worth interacting with the races, especially online races, are a mess. And don't even get me started on the soundtrack, you're better off turning it off and pulling up Spotify in the background.

@therealistmf2825 We'll have to agree to disagree, I'm getting good sense of speed with the starter and mid range cars already, I also enjoy the soundtrack despite lack of variety. I'll have to report back about cops when I've had more chases, as for online I never intend to play it

its easy to dodge a Rhino, you just have to take a look at the minimap and hear the audio when it says "7-10 ready to take them out"

in heat there's that brief moment before the nos kicks in and you feel the car launch, i never felt that in unbound, whenever i used the nos it felt like the car barely picked up any momentum outside of the bursts and even then, they weren't that impressive unless you did it on all 3 bars

Ya know surprisingly, I like NFS Paybacks Nitrous system. The delay fire effect in the exhaust and then when hitting it full on feels like I was playing 2 Fast 2 Furious all over again….. And even with the effect, if you press the nitrous button, u still use nitrous. The delay is just for that effect…. I like that delay fire exhaust effect….

You can tell how different the sound design is. Heat sounds like a straight through exhaust while unbound sounds like a straight exhaust from a tuktuk

In my opinion nitro in nfs is more a wide angle view temporaly activation,it feel faster but it’s actually not,i tried it in races and behind another car i activate the nitro and didn’t take any closer overall

Not a fan of The Heat but the sense of speed and the way NOS worked there was incredible, reminds me of old Fast and Furious movies. You were afraid to use it unless it was a straight line. Shame Unbound didn't get that Feature.
