Since HP2 is one of my favorite racing games and PS2 games, this looks super fun, seeing the crown vic in MW is nice too, on a random note, it always bugged me that HP2 didn't have night time, would've been nice.

HP2 supposed to have weather, day and night options like HP1, but the idea unused for unknown reasons. The developer said that on the making off video that you can find on KZfaq.

HPC was so damn good man, loved every second of it. Amazing what mods can do with NFS these days. I'd sure be down for a sequel someday, it's old school to the bone. Until then, I'll just sit here and wait for Carbon's turn, with its own Porsche Unleashed transformation 🎉.

You're right about the color pallet, it just works. Really reminds me of if the PS2 version Undercover had more care gone into it vs being a secondary studio type of deal.

Played it today. It was utterly phenomenal and reminiscent of the HP2 (especially the PS2 version) with the oldschool car list and compelling challenges. If only the newest NFS titles were designed to last like this gem. I would like to see some efforts to bring about NFS4 to the scene with similar mods.

I never knew i needed MW: HPC but playing it has such a blast of nostalgia. The cars handle so well with the layout of Rockport. Taking down AI Racers is a lot more difficult than in original MW and HP2.

Had to play the mod myself before watching this video to fully enjoy it. Really great mod, my one criticism for the mod is in hard mode, it can be a bit to RNG dependent in some of those brutal class 5 races, where your driving doesn't matter much if you just get a single pair of those unlucky round-the-blind-corner rhinos from the front.

Thankfully MostWanted isnt that big, now I have three versions: Redux V2, PepegaV2 and now this awesome HP mod :) Plays really well without an open world and " just challenges". Maybe in the future even map tweaks are possible, Rockports industrial insights sometimes clash a bit with palm trees :) Its amazing how modding friendly MostWanted has become, new cars are great, maybe new playable maps are possible too.

Okay here me out... What if some nfs fans mod most wanted just to be like nfs the run but you'll race from Rockport to Palmont to Tri City 3 maps, with various obstacles in between, different car types with customizations, cops, heat levels and a couple familiar faces from each series.

I agree with this as someone who only played it on PC, arcade cabinets and Gamecube 😎 HP2 PC is incredibly relaxing, nostalgic and iconic. i can remember most of the things in the game even after 8 years. However, i would also agree that the PS2 version has more love thrown at it by the devs, as it was better designed even within the console limits.

Actually no, they are decent but not better, PC, Xbox and Gamecube verisons are inferior to the PS2 version which have better graphics, better physics and extra desert track which doens't exist on EA Seattle versions. I only played the PC version during my childhood.
