@@kerimca98 Well the game said it was a hit confirmed, and the way the Viper spun in the mirror. It also appears as one of the spike strip's lights also disapear in the mirror. But it may just be a visual glitch.

This works as well in nfs heat. When i try to run away from the cops, i go to an open field where they normally wont look then turn off the engine.

Yeah the game's multiplayer experience is really good and the game itself has a really fun core loop. Overall it's something I never get bored of. Plus races are a lot cleaner than the likes of Forza where people constantly ram you in order to win. I've never had an online race where anyone divebombed me or rammed me in this game.

I remember seeing the game come up for pre-order. The next day I was at GameStop placing my order. When I sold my 360 I was sad to see the original Hot Pursuit was not compatible with the Xbox One S.

Im confused, how is hiding in those spots supposed to help/work? Wont the cop's systems eventually reboot and your location will be visible on their radar again?

@@tganims9804 Yes, but the thing is, when jammer's deployed, the cops can't see their GPS, and you can use that to hide on those extra spots while watching the cop's location on the GPS. If the time's right, you could drive the opposite direction as the cops and possibly escape using turbo. Even by the time the cops' GPS comes back on, they would realize you're already far away and has entered cooldown, in which you just have to escape before they continue the chase.

This is why I liked the weapon system better in Rivals than Hot Pursuit. If the chopper was still on the racer the pursuit wasnt over.

Strangely how still it is used the first gen Gallardo's engine sound for the Gallardos and the Sesto as well the R8 but I guess it somewhat replicates. It needs bit more Viperish tone to replicate it but overall it is good even though it is not from the same Gen. Or even better an actual R8 sound.

@@infiniteblaz3416 Yeah, I know it uses from Gallardo but still I don't understand why since 2008 (NFS Undercover) in almost all NFS till NFS Heat, the 2nd Gen Gallardo/Huracan is still using the 5.0L V10 sound despite in NFS Heat is somewhat fixed with the proper sound that is used for the Performante versions but the regular ones are still using this very outdated sound. And 1 strange thing is despite how the engine sounds are way louder than the exhaust sounds the R8 for some reason uses a sound that is barely heard that is from the first production Audi R8 that had a 4.2L V8 and it sounds bit different than the Gallardos/Sesto in NFS HP 2010/Remastered. Stellar could just (if they could) putting the Performante's sound or the Audi R8's sound from NFS Heat and that would make them more accurate. And it is still sad how Criterion could get the I5 sound for the TT that Black Box sucked and making I5 sounds but couldn't get the sounds of the Viper and instead of the glorious 8.3L/8.4L V10 it sounds like old Mustangs with mix of Koenigsegg and bit of Subaru Impreza.

@@infiniteblaz3416 I'm not saying all sounds are "not accurate". Some sounds kinda triggers me mostly the V10 sounds especially the Viper which sound like a freaking V8. But again I think I know what is the software that you can edit the sounds and I might do a mod about some of the car sounds. I mean 1 friend sent me all the exhaust and engine sounds and I was surprised. And Stellar could do a better job (I mean for that price). Also why it took you so long to reply me?

@@rafsandomierz5313 I know but still for remaster they could have done slightly better job. Like even adding ray tracing without makiing it on another engine with brand new graphics will be nicer. And adding the wrap editor and the color palette was nice edition but still could have been improved. Even fixing the wrong sounds would be nice instead of slight increase.

Heli can prevent you from getting into cooldown, but after you get in cooldown it is basically nothing

@FBI Yep. Basically, it is a bad idea for racers to use this method of jamming with the helicopter already summoned. At the same time, police must summon helicopters wisely.

This carried on to the next nfs games (made by criterion/ghost) In nfs heat, you can turn off the engine to decrease visibility. This was great driving outside the city as i can use any open space in offroad areas to just park and hide in the dark.

A lot of it carried when I was playing in 2010. I was never a fan of the more popular donut/360 brawls. Besides I feel it fits the theme of being a racer outrunning the law.

@@IsuckAtDriving Brawls are rarely optimal for racers anyway. For one, police have a bit more health. In a head-on collision of the same speed, racer will always crash.

Sadly not all cars are accurate. Like Vipers sound like V8, M6 sound like a weird V6, Evo X sounds like I6 and etc.

@@HeroManNick132 yeah koenigseggs(my fav) like the Agera especially doesn't sound like they should but the CCXR sounds great to me

@@icedkiwi111 I find it weird when you extract the deccel sounds (the engine and exhaust decceleration) for the Koenigseggs (despite in the game is so quiet) it sounds like it is mixed with Subaru WRX's decceleration with Koenigsegg Agera's decceleration - all of the Koenigseggs use these deccel sounds. Also the acceleration ones are very similar to the Subaru Impreza's acceleration sound which is weird (and it is mixed with V8). But the really wrong sounding ones are the Vipers. It is sad how they are using mostly Mustang V8 sounds and the only Viper thing is the deccel sound it sounds like proper Viper. Let's don't forget how the Evo X sounds like stock RB26DETT (not that one from 2F2F that is heavily modified) but when you select the car sounds like 4B11T I mean why it has to sound like Skyline? And the M6 also for some reason sounds like V6 (mostly like Acura NSX). At least from all car sounds the most accurate one is the McLaren F1 and the Audi TT RS and let's say the Diablo too since it uses also proper Lamborghini Diablo sounds and the Impreza (even though the engine sound is louder than the exhaust one for some reason). I find it funny how Black Box nailed the V10 sounds but messed up the I5 sounds while Criterion is the exactly the opposite - they nailed the I5 sound unlike Black Box but not the V10s.
