Minor differences noticed: -Leftover camera angle from UG2 -Shiftpatterns from UG2 (how cars sound when changing gears) -Better ps2 graphics -Better looking and judging by the footage heavier police cars -Weirdly placed tool booths (the one on the boardwalk) -Cool sequences we never got in the final game (The jump over the roadblock, and the little Cross sequence at the end) -The drag race we almost got in the final version (final version has a different starting position and has a different scripted traffic pattern) -Rog as a blacklist member -Weird car handling -Speedbreaker is just slow-mo and doesn't affect handling like the final version (again judging by footage I've seen)

M3 with yellow headlights actually looks so cool

I like the PS2 demo more than the PC demo of this game. I also love how Rog is Blacklist #16, but in the actual game, you race him before trying against Razor. This makes you think that this takes place somewhere between 6 and 4 days ago, before you race Ronnie in the intro. It's also cool how this game has an Evaded Capture screen with the Pursuit results, which wasn't present in the actual game. Also, M3 GTR for the win!

I remember playing From Russia With Love on PS2 when I was little and finding the NFS MW demo as an extra. I knew FRWL demo was on the NFS MW disc but I was blown away how different it was.

The game looks better because it is played on upscaled resolution on an PS2 emulator, if it was displayed on a real PS2 you would see the difference.

I was 9 when NFSMW released and I couldn't buy the full version of this game because I wasn't have money. Because of that as I remember I played this demo version at least 5 times 🙂

I would've been very okay if they kept the NFSU 2 camera work. I don't know, it just seems more focused on the car and environment. Like how the camera makes a slight turn with every turn so you can see more of it before you go, or how the camera doesn't jump every time you shift gears (like it does in MW/Carbon) so you can actually see the speed you're going at, and it doesn't feel exaggerated. Idk, gives you a better sense of driving. That was the one thing I missed when every subsequent NFS games came out were those camera angles and the overall camera work from NFSU2 and knowing that it was originally going to be in Most Wanted as well kinda makes me sad.

On PS2 hardware the performance were atrocious playing on OPL. It just constantly dropped below 30 fps forget about the cop pursuit it was a mess sometimes low 10s fps no wonder they have to dropped the graphics a nd effects to make the final game playable. But I gotta admired how much harder the game is with basically a U2 physics,camera and super aggressive cops the demo cops make final game cops looked tame and lazy. 007 FRWL have this demo but only on PS2 version while Xbox version just have a trailer instead.
