Most of the bad songs were made worse by how frequently they appeared. 10 hours into the game, I was still finding new songs but by that time I had heard that Nico Nasty - Money around 100 times by then. I swear all the bad songs paid EA to feature the song on the game and to get priority over the rest.

The biggest dissapointment I had is, there were literally no drift phonk or memphis rap songs. And this game came out at the PRIME times of phonk

I would say a good 25% of the songs in unbound are pretty lit, its just that their focus on rap and indie music just isnt the right direction, they arent bad, just out of place.

people complain about lack of rock , so i agre there should be more pants said they also covered the music in the meet up they did with criterion studio so hopefully in the next game we will get something decent , but for now am really hoping next uypdate fix the drift physics

Creo que Unbound no tiene mala música realmente, sino que está mal ubicada, me refiero a que durante carreras de alta velocidad, mientras vas a +300km/h te ponen canciones con un bit lento, como trap o rap o la insufrible de Rosalía xD o que mientras estás haciendo unos decals ponen música con un bit rápido. Porque cuando la música aparece en el momento correcto se vuelve mucho más inmersivo, por ejemplo escuchar un rap como la música de A$AP Rocky mientras haces pruebas de Drift viene perfecto, o escuchar Vampire/ Where is my mind mientras le haces tunning al auto es muy relajante

Buku - Front to Back carried the whole soundtrack for me. I feel for some strange reason EA's soundtrack shuffle algorithm is bad because you hear the same 5 songs when there are a lot more. It's definitely a shift in musical culture. But there are still some good jams in there that make for driving/racing vibes. Makes no sense there were no phonk, or synthwave/darkwave in there.

I actually like the better majority of the soundtrack. Not music that I'd listen to on my own (save for just about every track in the description). It fits the vibe they were going for for sure, but there is certainly a distinct lack of actual *race* music. UMEK - Cryptic Speech, Eliza Legzdina - Curse 4 U, and Poutyface - HEY NEIGHBOR! are the only tracks that are good for racing (that I've heard/tagged so far). The rest is for garage and cruise. P.S. I feel like "Be a Hoe, Break a Hoe" and "Curse 4 U" should be on the list.

This is bad, like a complete mismatch. The beat count is so low that it just doesnt make you wanna go fast or make you feel like youre going 300kmh/186mph in a school area, these songs are cruise songs at most and garage themes only.

sure man, in most way's i agree with u't opinion. BUT even music in 2'nd part video (it's not so bad RLY) but this music is still not for racing. is for club or RAVE after racing. but during the race, you need music that will awaken in you (if not the spirit of rivalry and the desire to break all opponents) then at least squeeze the gas pedal to the floor and more !! But this music gives you to relax and just ride a beautiful city on a relaxation

@@lconthebeat i didn't say anything about rock style, but they actually did good sound design in previous games like NFS 2015, Hot pursuit 2010 or MW2012 and in in those games they did AMAZING sounds, i RLY like it аnd there were not only rock performers, on the contrary, the rock of the musicians there were fewer than the rest if I remember correctly. sorry if i sound's aggressive

I just wish the OST had a little bit more genre variety. It doesn't have to be rock or metal. Just a little more of edm (techno, dubstep, dnb, etc) and it would be some much better. A lot of the tracks in the game just feel more suited for cruising or sitting in garage and tinkering with your car rather than fast paced racing.

Most people do complain about unbound but the thing the dont get is that these are the songs people these days listening to and the game is set in modern chicago so i dont think any thing other than cringy rap will set the tone of the game.

This whole game was garbage. I beat it, deleated it and never turned back. The city choice was terrible, the gameplay was terrible and the focus on multiplayer is terrible. I got robbed of my $70. I hate to say this but ill probably never buy another NFS game ever again. Edit: also, wtf was even the point in habing ASAP Rocky in yhis game? His part in the story was horrible. It sounded like it was clipped from a podcast.
