This man is a great thinker. Is he a warrior? If War were an org chart or a PowerPoint deck...alas it is not. He is fighting our greatest enemy: sclerotic legislation and bureaucracy. And losing? Why did Roper leave? He speaks eloquently about the problems but the solutions have barely begun. Defense capabilities will not scare China. Attack capabilities will scare China Lots of talk about space and the Western Pacific. But all the talk will vanish when troops start landing in the Aleutians.
