I want to think the move to bring Bosmic back to NRM was an agenda to shift blame of atrocities in Acholi away from NRM government to leaders in Acholi. This move maybe intended to help the NRM regain popularity in the region and give NRM more support ahead of the 2026 election. Although his point is making sense, Bosmic has forgotten that these people are holding public offices meant to serve the whole country. It's true they need to use their position to benefit their people, but the shifting the blame from the government to our leaders is a wrong game. I implore him to refocus and yeah, make contribution from his capacity.

Thanks for your analysis, but please note the following: 1. The NRM Government has registered success in several areas; for example the road sector, water and electricity is nearly in all the small towns/trading centres throughout the country, women have been grealty empowered, etc, etc. The youth however need urgent attention due to the rampant use of drugs and alcohol, and this is a national problem. We thank Government for the developments as above. However, some development issues that affect the individual personally and directly have largely been left out, and that matters a lot. For example, salaries are not commensurate to the costs of living, traditional schools are all shadows of their former selves, empty hospitals/health centers (private schools and hospitals are out of reach for the average Ugandan); unaffordable agricultural inputs, etc, etc. The whole country suffers from all of the above, not only Acoliland. In reference to the above therefore, are the Acoli leaders to be blamed for all the economic and social malaise in Acoli and in Uganda generally?. You know whom to blame, but you dont mention his name. As S. Presidential Advisor, please direct your concerns to the right Office, and desk. Why? Because when people are sick, cannot take their children to school, do not feed well, etc, etc, wealth creation becomes a myth. 2. These Acoli leaders whose names you have mentioned, should they pick their own money/resources and share with the people?. Dont they have terms and conditions attached to their intruments of appointment, and which should guide the performance of their duties, regardless of who, or which tribe, may reach their desk with a problem? Will you be sharing your Senior Presidential Advisor salary with Acoli folks outside of your family?. We wait to see. Your agenda on Acoli leaders is misplaced. Please spread peace and love, we shall all be glad for it.
