Great video :) just so you know theres two things id like to correct. 1. The difference between Dach and Cozens is basicly Dach is a passer (Getzlaf) Cozens is a shooter (Scheifele) 2. Broberg is wayyy more offensive than Soderstrom. Soderstrom is a good all around guy but Broberg is a big offensive defenseman who is crazy fast.

Watched Bowen Byram live tonight at LEC - Excellent prospect! Giants lead their series 2 - 0 now. Looking forward to this draft!

In comparison, Kakko put up Best stats in history, as a 17-year old player in Finnish professional level Liiga. To mention some, he outmenuvered players like Barkov, Laine & Granlund. He is right now bigger, faster, stronger and he should go first, no questions asked. Trust me, top six in line up of the team that gets him, at start of next season. ✌️

canucks won’t pick Caufield because they need a left wing so i think they’ll take Krebs, he’s also got that work ethic and leadership skills that is needed in Vancouver

Excellent mock. Cozens/Dach #3-4 is a lock imo. As a Wings fan Im praying Byram falls to us, but I don't think LA will pass up on him. Since they need both forwards and D Im hoping Podz is too good to pass up for them...or they fall in love with Toch. This is such a deep draft though. The first 7 teams are getting studs. Next 7 are getting top line potential players as well. Fascinating draft. #3-7 is so tight. Then #8-12 is so tight. #13-15 as well. Cant wait to see what happens! With so much star potential being rated so closely it is going to be fun looking at this draft a few years down the road seeing who lucked out making the right picks.

As an edmonton fan I would take one of Zegras, Caufield, and Turcotte. All very strong!

I’m from Newfoundland, played soccer against Newhook back in 2015 really pulling for him to do well in the NHL !

I feel like if the sens traded up to 13 and Alex Newhook was still there, I feel like the Sens would select him. Ottawa has a bunch of young defencemen in their system, and in last year’s draft, they picked up Jacob Bernard-Docker (26) and Jonny Tychonick (48), who are good friends and work amazingly together, they would fit in nicely on the second pair behind Chabot and Brannstrom, and then we could slot in Wolanin and Jaros on that third pair. Sure, we have a lot of offensive prospects too, but if Newhook can translate that BCHL scoring into something more, I think the sens would go with him.

Do you think the NYR try to move up in the draft with their other 1st rounder from WPG and do you think that they move kreider at the draft to do it? I could see them moving up with the trade assets that they have and nabbing another falling player like they did with KAndre Miller last year

Similar to the 99 draft when we wanted the sedins rumor has it the trade is demko/dipietro, virtanen, woo, and our 10th for hughes its a lot to give up but hed match up with petey amazingly

Good video but a few things to note: Cozens and Dach are two very different player in their strenght/weakness and style of play only thing they have in common is the league they play in theirs size and the fact that they are both really good. I'm suprised that we have the exact same top15 (not the order but at least the players) KK is #1 in my mind and also might just be a better center then hughes . I have caufield top 5 i think he might go way lower because gms are dumb (debrincat ...). I wouldn't be too surprised to see edmonton and maybe philly moving down too as they would prefer ready now player .

Dach and Cozens are not getting top 4. Chicago does not need a center. So they are likely picking Podkolzin. Colorado picks Byram. Though the needs for a forward are there, there is completely no reason to pass up Byram, who is the better player than the forward options. You can always trade one of your already NHL experienced defenders for a foward. LA will take either Dach or Cozens.

Knowing Montreal, they'll draft based on their *needs* (remember when they passed the best available in Zadina, Hughes, Tkachuk for Kotkaniemi) so my guess it's they draft Cam York, Ville Heinola or Philip Broberg (if he falls out of the draft board just like Dobson did). Also, the Habs are not the best at drafting French/QMJHL players. I think Tampa Bay and Ottawa are way better than Montreal when it comes in drafting French/QMJHL players.

I would really rather get Philip Broberg for the wings @#6 instead of Bowen. We need a defenseman that is solid in his own end and can lead the attack forward. We don't need a smaller, more offensive minded dman @6 imo. #unpopularopinion

Oilers Caufield for sure and if the Sens trade up I think that's a great pick or York, Seider. They need to build up the RHD side badly. Newhook would be great to take a chance on since their center depth doesn't have his kind of skillset.

List is good but idk about cozens. There's just something I saw about him at the U18's that makes me question how elite/productive he'll be in the show. I don't see him being a big much more than a 50 point guy. There were a few times where there was a wide open player back door but cozens would just rip it over the net. He's more 7-10 caliber, definitely don't think he should be a top 5 pick. Turcotte is a 3-5 sleeper imo

I had Cam York for the Canadiens in my mock draft.They need a left shot puck moving 2 way Dman who can produce on the Power play more then they need a player like Lavoie.Just my opinion but I am a die hard Habs fan and Petry needs a consistant partner and they lack LHD.

couple of things: first, there's literally no question that jack hughes is #1, it's not even close. the only argument people have for kakko is "HES BIGGER AND PLAYS AGAINST MEN!!" it's ridiculous, hughes has him beat in probably every skill set there is, the media likes to create drama and act like it's close for clicks and shit. 2. as fun as it'd be, there's not gonna be a triple H line, Hughes is too young and he's not gonna be on the first line. hall, nico, and palmieri is a great first lines. hughes with the likes of bratt and wood/coleman will be one of the quickest and insane 2nd line in the league. nice mock draft taxtix!

Is newhook a risk? He passes the eye test as much as anyone else in this draft. I hope the flyers grab him at 11

In my opinion the Flyers pick is very important for them. I think they will start a rebuild. Trade veterans for young guy. They have great prospect like Farabee,Hart,Frost,Rubtsov. If I am the Flyer GM I select Probreg (like you said) and build a team for Lafrenière next year.

I think Byram should be higher as well as Podkolzin, same with Caufield. If we end up with Caufield, I'll be a happy camper for sure although Boldy or Krebs would be great as well.

For the Ducks, if Byram is available, I want Murray to pull the Trigger on him. Next Murray should go after Canfield despite him being short. Vatanen is a short defenseman that used to play for them. Then next would be Boldy if Caufield and Byram are taken.
