I improved my game a lot with your tutorials and by watching you Play on Twitch. Thank you for your time. Idea for a next tutorial: how to effectively protect the puck in the offensive zone / especialy in the corners/behind the net. My player won’t rotate in the right direction All the time and i don’t understand why (using L1 - L1-X or Right stick Buttons on PS). Happy New Year Keso!

Hey thanks a lot on the info. Just started playing about a month ago. Just getting back into the actual nhl as well. This videos are a huge help. My offense struggles but my d had been pretty solid even though I’m stuck around 7/8 division which is hard to admit. I think i actually play worse against the guys i feel like i should beat. I’ve only played about 20 rival games though. Enjoying the podcast as well.

I’m a newbie to this game and I SUCK. I need some of this tips to be more detailed. Like how do you do a “saucer pass?” When you use L2/X how do you release it without passing the puck? Also what does that he right stick do (In using “hybrid” controller functions.

So my example is default skill stick controls. With Hybrid controls it’s so much harder to do the L2/X The only way is to hold L2/X and also tap L1 to cancel the pass.

Hey Stew, so the ones in the discord are what I usually use when trying I guess you could say. Those are the best ones I found so far, I've been messing around with some other strats on stream recently, but if GWC was today I'd use the ones in the discord

I don’t understand why my skaters keep skating to the opposite side?! Could you please help me I would owe you one .... every game my right winger skates to the left and my left wingers keep skating to the right.... it's really killing me

I don't use backskate too much when playing defense but I do have it active on Hedman, mostly because it's cheap and he's on the ice a ton

And side question, is someone using xbox elite controller? Is it true that I could change the buttons for Skill stick? I’m playing hybrid cause due to birth injury can’t fully use the skill stick. I thought maybe change of buttons could help with this elite controller.

Not sure as I've never used one of those on xbox, I don't think you can change the skill stick. You can use Classic controls I believe and use A/B for pass and shoot

When I stick lift sometimes it goes in-between my winger and defence and the other team can pick it up alot of the time . Is there any way to get it back to ur defence everytime ?

Not exactly sure what you mean by this, in general the stick lift isn’t that good in this game. Probably the only defensive Action that isn’t. Usually it’s just better to hit the player or board play if you’re closer to the boards
