I think you should set the trade difficulty to easy and trade for Michkov, i wouldnt really consider it cheating (as long as you trade Carlsson in the deal) since all it does is make the series more fun and realistic

Tactix is the only guy who would make me watch anything on the flyers, you love to see it

If you set your injury slider for CPU and HUMAN down to 10-12 the injuries are far less occurring and a lot easier to deal with when simulating. It would be interesting to see you create a team with some scratches every year.

Go to “edit player” in the franchise settings and remove all of Michkov’s abilities. His trade value could drop significantly, and you could just add them back after the trade

Carlsson always asks for a lot of money it’s hilarious. He always breaks the market.

In my experience of using the hard trade setting, you gotta either overpay by a pretty fair margin, or be giving up a high end asset, but that tends to cancel out if youre trading for a really valuable contract. I tried trading for Makar the other day and I had the bar nearly double the value of Makar with all the assets in my last ditch effort of giving up everything I had and they still said no. You basically have to be trading Franchise level player for Franchise level player in my experience. Id suggest turning the trade difficulty down just for that one trade like some of the other comments have mentioned.

I definitely feel like the trade should be set on easy just so you can get him, considering they got him in real life and should have already been on the team. Just makes it more realistic throughout the series

If its Always Sunny then surely we must eventually find a Golden God for the team, not a starter but a finisher!

I'd recommend keeping an eye on the prospect numbers in the USA regions, typically they drop off a ton after the first year or 2, I usually just leave 1 scout in each and put 3 on each canadian region

Wanna make a little suggestion for the roster. Put michkov and like 64 ovr so it takes him 3 years to get into the nhl. That way its a but more realistic. And give him franchise med. He deserves it and speeds up his development in game. And also great team you picked!

I wouldve accepted the Dumba trade offer then flipped him at 50% retained at the deadline. CPU hates retaining but when you retain, theyll pay out the wazoo for it. 2BC sent Josi at 50% to Edmonton for essentially 4 1sts.

Idk why but I’ve noticed that in the first season of every franchise that I’ve played, no matter how bad the Flyers are, they always get a playoff spot or 1 point shy. It’s so strange

From my experience, having atleast B or better teaching coaches in AHL/NHL could do wonders. Could get a player in Low Elite to a Medium Elite. It also grows the players a lot in off-season, depending on their potential and playtime, although not sure if this is just meant to be normal.

For my franchise what do I do about Murray and muzzin since they both most likely won’t play again at least muzzin and do I add the created players that tactix has

What I like to do with a coach thats an A or A+ but im rebuilding is fire ahl assistant coach, put the nhl coach as the ahl coach and sign a coach with A or A+ teaching. Then when I'm ready to win I bring the coach up.
