This video was supposed to be out week 2 but i got busy . Ea is suppose to be releasing a patch to turn off tether controls but i will not be turning them off . The old controls punished goalies way to much for trying to actually play goalie , with every movement during a shot being a negative . With the tether it rewards movement , now granted its new and will take a while to truly ghet use to but this video is a push in the right direction . to help you get better and use to it .

I love the tethered system sure it took me hours of practice and sure i hated it at first, i agree with the cons of it what u stated in the video but yeah all in all i like it

My chel gaa went from 2.40 ish to 5.00 ...save% 821 to 753....yeah I'm struggling this year

@@IronBear47 It definitely did help. Though now it's apparent that goal scoring is up across all of chel so it's just easier to score for skaters but for goalies it's... it's the year of the short side .

Why did you change the goalie camera perspective in the video to airplane view? Also how do i get the camera to be how you were for mosr of the video. I dislike the airplane view as tender and want to play it how you were

It's weird the keys to playing this position are dealing with what's wrong with it and some just accept it. Just hold a button to stop from jumping around, learn how to deal with holding the post automatically. Expect your player to spin in circles and just deal with it. This game is more broken than last years. I thank EA for giving me 10 free hours to play it because it was enough time to figure out I'm not buying this shit after doing so for over 11+ years straight.

as someone who used to be a pro in nhl 20/21 era this video is honestly horrible. Holding LT all the time is a terrible thing to do unless you're trying to do soft side->side movements to get square. you sacrifice so much quickness, and its important to get used to quickness because against any top skater hes gonna dangle yo shit into infinity and you're gonna look blind lmao.
