I love this new format! It is like NHL 1st team, 2nd team, 3rd team. Granted less TOTS cards, but I also think that is a good thing to make them more viable. In the past when they give everyone a TOTS card it kind of lessens the hype.

because Community TOTS won't have MSP card art. It will just be headshots like the World ones are

@@MazeyRz That’s not necessarily the worst thing. I’m just wondering if we’re actually going to get 6 defencemen, 2 goalies, and 12 forwards from the NHL. If we do, that’s good and that’s all that matters.

I think that the TOTY McDavid is better than the new TOTS card that was just released! The main reason is because of Born leader! The endurance on many cards have been buffered by EA which makes having a card with even silver born leader makes a huge difference and if you can activate born leader on every player in your first line and maybe even your top two lines.. it can really give you an advantage when it comes to your entire team’s energy during the game and especially when you play online!

I saved up 2 weeks of sb packs and hut rush and I was able to acquire MacKinnon with random pack, maker with 40 collectibles and Hughes with xfactor so I feel like this event is a major steal for 99 3 point 3 synergies, granted I’ve done all the objectives since before the trade deadline so all the free players went into sets

Major discount for Xfactors this year. Its 9 powerups alone from 98 to 99 which is way more than 60k in value.

If you have untradeable TOTY probably do the one for one and play around with it; but otherwise yes probably better with Gold wheels

Depends what you’re after. Bouchard + dobson for RHD and Hedman + josi for LHD are probably favourites. But like he said we will have community tots

Are they going to do a rookie team TOTS? If so you would think that Faber will get one. I have enough cards to make 59 more collectables. Would it be wise to wait and see if we get a Faber TOTS or should I just use these collectables for Kucherov or Hellebuyck?

Thank you sleeves for all the info this year ,i have made 4 TOTS and so far not sure if its just the 96 ovr or just a good day for me But Mcdavid And Makar have been fire ,also like to revise my ROENICK review, i didnt have his synergies on last time and now he is gonna be 1 of my top scoring players😮😅 Def. worth it cant wait to see whos next

even though you’re paying some of the up front cost to get the TOTS versions, you’re not paying for ALL of the upgrade. Quinn Hughes for example is 8 collectibles (same value as a power up collectible) + the 95 x factor but to get him from 95 to 99 it would be more than that for sure

Mack because it's a limited time set. You can always build TOTS makar if you pull his x-factor later and trade it in or get his 99 from the xp set when that comes out

Donno how Niku and Palve will get more cards. Dudes got ELIMINATED from the playoffs with a gentleman sweep (4-1). Their seasons are over...both guys nowhere to be seen all series only few assist 😅

Aren’t you getting a discount on the x-factor cards? Going from 95 Hughes to 99 is gonna be way more than 8 power up collectables isn’t it? I think going from 98 to 99 on doughty costs 8 alone,and aren’t the tots collectables the exact same price to make as power up collectables?

Hate to say it but i dont think Oula Palve is getting anything after this. His season ended today. Well he could make it to world champs but idk how likely that is. Sure EA can make cards out of their ass for him to get upgrades, but idk if thats happening either. Kinda meh cards for Europe anyway.

Sleeves you always say that tge little guys have a hard time knocking the bigger guys. In my experience I can absolutely level any player with my 95 body checking makar. It’s not like years past. Only issue is push checking with smaller players is a bit harder. But I hardly rely on push checks. Thanks for the great vid as always 👍

So in 24, if you are skating at full speed 100% the smaller guys can’t knock the puck free. It’s when someone’s cycling and holding the puck away protecting it. The smaller guys can’t shove check well that’s what I’m referring to

So me having toty mcdavid, mackinnon, makar and heiskanen (prolly gets a tots too) gives me 24 tots collectibles for free since I can just retrade in all the tots I get from the trade in and keep my totys. Sweet

Pains me to say it, but big props to EA for the changes they've made to TOTS. Giving us options to build cards straight up and not have to do random pack over and over again, (sorry EU fans,) is a huge W. Also, S/o to the graphics team for always making really good card art. But man, if you went heavy on the Maple Leafs pack, you're laughing your way to the bank. Made Makar and Hellebuyck and still have 160ish collectables

The McDavid TOTY is definitely faster than the TOTS but the Season McDavid feels way smoother in shootouts and close quarters

McDavid and Mackinnon are same cards as toty just swapped places for unstoppable force and wheels. So which ability do you want cheaper. Like I said EA is just weak. Couldn’t even change up the synergies, flat out lazy

Yes it was a good trade for you. EA repeats the same players over and over. So my thoughts are he has the xfactor or toty or maybe he’s going to take the other Makar version 99 at the end of the year 💪🏻

I mean, Doughty is a 99 while Makar won't be for a while. Value wise, it's questionable. But I'd assume he's a huge Doughty fan and just wanted him really bad and gave up on the X-factor pack.

U say that there is no discount to upgrade X factor to TOTS to 99 when there is one…. If it costs 4 PUC to upgrade +1 ovl, upgrading the xfactor mcdavid would eventually cost him 12 collectibles and Hughes 16, and that’s IF they stay at 4PUC until 99

@@Jackemeister idc about expensive; they should be attainable still for casual players who don't play 4-8hours a day. I mean they just had an awful event 2 events ago then redid the exact same thing for TOTS. And for those of us who didn't start the game when it first came out it's not really attainable; for those who are addicts, do it for a living, or game all the time sure; but the fact that there's a 7 day timeline makes it 100% worse.

@@packerpf I do agree that they could've done more collectibles for hut moments, rush etc. But still we have known that TOTS was coming for weeks and you can build a TOTS player for around 500k if you are able to buy 8 89/90s for 60k each which is a pretty good deal imo considering the 96 teambuilders cost like 1mil+ to make.

hughes over josi is crazy in my mind for TOTS right now. Hughes had a good start and has racked up good assists but Josi is out of this world the second half of the season..
