im a huge fan of the franchise/GM mode i hope they make a lot of positive changes and add a bunch of new features to it.

They need to allow the option to switch between espn and tnt… I would love to see intermission reports and coaches challenges would be cool to use. They need to just make it feel like you are watching it on tv. Actual intros and goal horns and songs need to be put in now its ridiculous… we need more overtime celebrations the one right now is getting old

You often hear of NHL wishlist items that are entire features or overhauls that you KNOW EA can’t/won’t implement. But this was a very realistic and doable list of updates that could be addressed. Nice work.

They need to add online franchise too with commissioner tools/sliders because what ever madden 24 has nhl kinda does the same too

Hoping the scouting in Franchise gets improved. Can't count how many times they don't scout players in the top 10. I'd like to be able to set it so that the scouts automatically look at the top 50, 100, or 200 players overall.

And more tournaments in be a pro. I want to play in the world Juniors, world Cup, all star game, winter classic. I want to be sent down to the AHL if I'm not good enough. Or even play a few seasons in the juniors before Im ready for an NHL team.

As someone who plays almost exclusively Be a Pro, here's what I wish they would add. Injury reports, show you what trades were made, all star game, winter classic/stadium series, aging on your player, and obviously fixing the fans and physics

Totally agree with this list. Im always very sour on how the net is still not very reallistic and just a solid wall. I would also like to see more customization in the create a player instead of the same options and pictures from the last 5 games.

Add more team customization like the concessions and what they can sell at the team store for franchise. I know they have some stiff, but what if little 7 year old Jimmy Smith wants a Scott Perunovich Jersey rather than a Robert Thomas or a big name player

Especially the pre game presentation where it shows the starting goalies. It would be awesome if they brought back the goalie presentation because it makes it feel more realistic.

The coaches challenges should be like what they do in MLB the show, only aout 1/30 calls have the chance to be challenged and some are correct in the first place so you can be penalized for challinging a good call

I really wish the nhl franchise would have real coaches. This has been a pet peave for me for years now.

I would really like to see a way to cancel a fight, easier goalie mechanics, a way to pull ur goalie in be a pro, and the winter classic.

i’m glad someone finally mentioned the robotic team celebrations and refs. those are such easy fixes that should have been fixed a long time ago. i’d also love to see more realistic scrums rather then just 2 players pushing and shoving each other in front of the net.

A lot of the issues seem to come down to some variant of either: "Why has this not been addressed, despite years of series regulars all but begging on their knees for it?", OR "Who in the actual heck asked for THIS??" We're over a decade down the pike from arguably the series' apex, and we've seen entirely too many gimmicks (Chance the Rapper visiting the booth? Srsly?), and precious little of actual hockey substance...at least, in the parts of the game that can't be monetized. The official reveal is next week. I expect that once I finish watching it, I'll be putting in a pre-order. For FC 24.

I wish for the scoreboard/presentation that it would vary between teams and leagues. Some might have a basic junior level looking scoreboard like you see in the chl, or some might have nhl type scoreboards where they are in the top left, bottom or just at the top depending on what "channel" the game is on

Honestly the only thing i really want his like that you can have longer junior career in be a pro not just the memorial cup and also having the world juniors, world cup and olympics and also could be nice to be able to go in europe at the end of ur career

Skills Comp/All Star Game (Be A Pro), Winter Classic(All modes), Winter Classic/Being able to create your own jersey for it (Franchise), Bench Hits (All Modes), Glass Breaking (All Modes), Coaches Challenge (All Team Modes) Thrashers Logo (Franchise), Being able to play Multiple Years in the AHL/Being demoted to the AHL (Be A Pro), WJC/World Championship (Be A Pro), 1st Person POV (Be A Pro), and last but what I really want; Being able to choose playing as an existing player (Be A Pro)

I want to be able to walk around the rink and interact with the environment. GM mode, head to 3rd floor GM office. Be a pro, head to the dressing rooms. Quick play, just hop on the ice. I know it's not this games "style" but I mean get with the times. We have starfield coming out in a few months yet EA acting like we still in the 2000's

This game is so fun yet so bare bones at the same time. There’s so much missing that everyone enjoyed in previous games EA removed. EA knows all they have to do is push out a hockey game and people will buy it.

They should make the franchise mode like the way fifa does it, you can see yourself interviewing the player and his agent for a new contract for better negotiations and, you should be able to have team practices and TRAINING CAMP, then 7th rounders can actually have a great career like Mackenzie Weegar!

I want them to add back the old 2K Zamboni Challenge I also want them to add back customizing the ahl team to franchise mode And add the ECHL and ability to send players to the ECHL in franchise mode. I’d like to be able to get longer term contracts in Be A Pro

What makes no sense is EA literally HAD half of these things in previous games and then made it worse by taking them out??? Makes no sense. Also, the stuff highlighted in this video are mostly smaller mechanics that should already be in the game (realistic fans, netting physics, player physics, less robotic refs, etc) and if they were, EA could actually focus on improving the game modes and adding bigger things to the game like GM connected and fixing how lame the storyline for BAP is

Dude… Gm mode and bap need massive updates. They both need more depth and more immersive elements to make the modes appeal to a wider demographic and keep current players entertained. In gm mode it could be something like prospect camps/player training/some OPTIONAL cutscenes. And in bap more personal training sessions that it doesn’t feel like your stuck in a menu, and the ability to turn off or at least limit coach and media challenges. They expect a 3rd rounder efd to score like Connor mcdavid and that(to me) is straight up not fun nor realistic

What I would like to see is a replay of the game once it’s done

Own goals less frequent, brawl after a big hit or after a frozen puck (not just 2 players pushing each others), ai having more hockey iq, players not doing weird movements (there is a lot of amelioration needed in the gameplay, the way players move, skate), fans having jerseys of previous years, mascot doing something else than just playing drum in the corner, not hearing the guy in the stands shout “half and half” or “moitié-moitié” when the game is not even at Montreal and also much more need to be fix

Add on to the black eye, and scars make it where players lose teeth, and so in franchise mode, if someone loses a tooth or gets a scar, it stays with them for the rest of their career

I at least want a pc port please! I don’t own a Xbox or Playstaion, but do have a good pc, and would love to play an NHL game on there, but knowing EA, it ain’t happening any time soon

I would like to see more style options like roll up sleeves likel Ovi Bertuzzi Kucherov Nelander kane etc. for the rest and more visor customization able to colour your sticks any colour more tape jobs more celebrations been able to modify your equipment like your gloves been able to spray paint your stick like Jason Spezza or William Nelander in any colour been able to keep your lace out of your pants like Ovi been able to customize your cuff on your glove like Kaprizov or shorten it like Nelander being able to colour your palm like Brady Tkachuk Red palms more tape jobs like been able to put puck marks like Kane or Ovi all of that in Be a Pro and other modes

The sad part is the things you're requesting EA to add to their games, are things that were already a part of previous games, sitting there nice and cozy, and could easily still be around for you today. EA just took them out for no reason, and now we're stuck here asking for it back, as if it'll be something brand new to us when it arrives, when in reality everything you're asking for could be in the game rn. My opinion is EA takes these perfectly sound part of their games out, just to re-introduce it like its new again in the future, to help buff up their games and make it look like they did more.

EASHL needs an overhaul, customization is lacking. This fortnight esq bag opening is redundant and unrewarded. Where are the abilities to change stick flex, blade curve, skate blade length like in 2014??? Slowing a defensive player down because they are extending their stick to defend their ice is annoying. Look at the 2K games, that level of customization is where we should be. Defending the post/short side as a goalie AI/user is also an issue. Goalie cover up animations are buggy and don't afford the user player a chance to cover a puck. For God sakes fix the AI players in these modes too.

in be a pro u should play om other ice rinks with other plyers like in ones and add warm ups

whenever you win a cup make the AI player celebrate in the moment instead of a cut scene

The last thing the online part of this game needs is more replay time

Sports franchises have been lazy for too long, if 2k4 and 2k5 football can have in helmet mode or first person, every sports game should. OT games should be extra RP. Every game should count, this is incredibly multiplied by one’s you have a hat trick in, many placement games didn’t count. To this day 15% of games randomly don’t register after completing the dam thing. We need realistic penalty calls, with over 40K hits this game alone I’m pretty sure I know how to check up and deliver a big hit, stop penalizing clean hits. It’s almost 100% a charge when I chase down someone with a hit on a breakaway. Get rid of perks that boost or hinder goalie, too many games lost from the time freeze glitch perk that shouldn’t exist. Throw Hut away and focus on the game mode that isn’t your cash cow, they act like you bought the game so Chel is incomplete as a punishment. Can we get some new voices on play by play??? If a game is cross platform I should be able to report message and yell at all players not just ones on my system. And for the love of god can we get NHL on the god damn switch??? How about a certain percentage of quits or grade out they create a loser or troll bracket , so the players actually wanting wins can get them. I couldn’t count how many times a wing or C will throw a game by going offsides every play on purpose. There used to warnings for players that quit(on profile), why not for trolls? EA has fumbled this game so many times how about someone besides the letter mafia that told me my life doesn’t matter get a chance at an easy game to make great, you just actually put developers on chel instead of hut. This game is such a joke I can’t even use the word straight as an in game name, how am I supposed to be Quinton Straightfeld ? To down grade the graphics on older gen systems is so messed up, I saved $10 and now the ice isn’t shiny, animations look bad, you can barely see crowd and it glitches at start of a game all the time. To require players to get everything in game by having an ea plus membership is such bs, it doesn’t even list the exclusive elitist bags in the description , false advertising. They also never got rid of the way you can find anyones location playing the game, which should be listed in security permissions but is not. Those aholes shouldn’t be rewarded with another game, they should be in court for these blatant lies and egregious misleading of consumers for many years.
