Calgary took a 5-1 lead before Edmonton started pouring on the goals themselves, but the Flames defeated the Oilers 9-6 in what was the highest-scoring Battle of Alberta playoff game in NHL history.

So satisfying as an oilers fan knowing we won this series. You KNOW flames fans thought it was over after this game.

Такой матч ещё называют битвой титанов, пара ровная и здесь нечего говорить: Гудро как обычно хорош, для Макдевида проигранный матч с его регулярной статистикой смерти подобно. Хоккей hey! Hey! What can I say!

@Lilo is the baddest flames defense was horrible tho. just because they won the game doesnt mean they look good, they let in 6 goals and blew a lead. markström let in more goals than koskinen, think about that, and we all know how shaky koskinen can be xD
@inactiveaccount64f2 жыл бұрын
@@Alexandros.Mograine that's because koskinen didn't start tho, I agree markstrom was bad, but if we have better goaltending next time and better defense we should be winning these games.

Flames would NEVER have scored that many goals against Ottinger in one game . This series is going to show the true deadly offence of the Flames being freed up to make goals practically at will against a regular Stanley Cup opponent with basically a slight bit above average goal tender. 4 maybe 5 games and this series is history. Flames have moxy for sure, in the goal scoring category.
