There are a lot of players that I utterly detest (looking at you Manson), but some I have the utmost respect for. Ellers and Rantanen are straight good players, you can't help but appreciate them even as they destroy your team.

If anything, atleast they are making the series interesting. If Avs just came in and 4-0 them it wouldn't be any fun for anyone. Now they are putting up a fight and no matter what happens, atleast their fans have gotten a taste of it and I believe that the Kraken fanbase will just keep on growing.

This Avs team is a far cry from the Cup team from last year. Look at the roster line up, Nieto on the first line? It also hurts not having Landy and Nichushkin. I think it will continue to be a close series. If Avs win, they don't look like they have the line up for a deep playoff run this year.

Two minute minor penalty is ‘dirty’ now. It was shoulder to shoulder, clean, a tad late maybe but thats on the refs in control of the whistle. You havent seen a real hit before have you lol

@@cameronhirtle7316 Nothing to do with the whistle. McCann hadn't touched the puck since he shot it and wasn't eligible to be hit regardless of whether the play was live or not. That's dirty every day of the week.

@@cameronhirtle7316 I’ve seen plenty. It’s a shoulder check, sure, but that is about the only legal part of that hit. For a bit to be legal it has to meet multiple criteria. Also, it got changed to a minor even though it was major status. Hence the suspension. You must know more than the NHL

Went to Seattle last year to watch my team play the Kraken. The atmosphere that game was bonkers even though their team was losing. I remember telling the Kraken fans next to me that once they get into the playoffs that the arena's energy will be much higher, and it was already crazy loud. Happy to see them enjoying the greatness that is playoff hockey, especially an OT winner at home.

If the Kraken win this series, it'll be one hell of a story, your first year you start with nothing, then the next year you best the reigning champs in a best of 7. Definitely would be an amazing story. But that's if they could pull it off, hoping the Kraken pull it off as it'd be one hell of a story.

@@smilanesi98 No you really don't need help not this year. The Avalanche offense boils down to Mack, Rant and Makar and that is about it. Shut down those players and you will most likely win. The Avs defense is so god aweful compared to last year that this statement isn't even partially true.

It would've helped to have Landy for playoffs for sure. Oh, and Nichushkin(whatever is going on with that situation).

Avalanche just seem completely off kilter. Right now, the Kraken are out hustling, out passing, out team playing the Avs. Every single the game so far the Avs have come in slow, lazy, uncoordinated and just look lackluster. The Kraken are also baiting Avs into dumb penalities and watching my team self destruct is just astounding so good job Kraken and let's see if the Avs can score first in one game this series.

That penalty from Makar was just bad. Wonder if he gets a suspension for it. If he does, that might cause the Avs some problems. Definitely have to give some major props to Seattle though. They are giving the champs all they can handle.
