Anderson had a dirty play in that scrum. He grabbed Leon by the head and hauled him down and Leon clearly tweaked something cos his leg got caught underneath him. Also kaliyev just rocked mcdavid centre ice without the puck. In the replay you can see kaliyev looking away from the play but as soon as he sees mcdavid he loads up and rocks him. Dirty ass plays on the star players. Oilers haven’t once touched kopitar to where he was limping off the ice…. I’ll just leave it there.

There's a difference between loading up and bracing at the last second for a hit. He did nothing to adjust his trajectory, that much is true. But in a situation like that, trying to dodge the collision is more dangerous for both parties that just taking the hit. If the dodge goes wrong, it could be a blown knee or worse

Leafs have been the better team through-out this series except for game 4. That's 1 game out of 6+! Hard to argue the facts. If Vasy plays anything other than super-natural again, the Bolts are going to get LIT UP.

Calgary is gonna put that series on ice unfortunately for my Stars, but I wouldn't mind seeing a best of 7 Battle for Alberta. Even if Dallas does get past Calgary, I don't feel like we're a good match up for either team(Edmonton or LAK) so it would probably be a short series anyways. Battle for Alberta playoff series would be more fun to watch as a hockey fan lol.

Not great coaching! The coaching staff decided not to challenge that very winnable call for the non-goal. If the Oilers lose, then that call is the difference maker. You have to look at the scenario from all angles!

Some of the saves mike makes i feel like other goalies couldn’t do, however the goals he lets in every other goalie could have made that save.

Indeed... Going the distance are Kings vs Oilers / Tampa vs Toronto / Boston vs Carolina = Game 7 decisions possibly also for Calgary vs Dallas / Florida vs Washington / New York vs Pittsburgh = St. Louis Blues closed out the Minnesota Wild tonight in 6 games to advance = Avs swept the Preds earlier this week.

Always feel bad for the losing team but I'm glad Oilers won. A Canadian team is due for a cup.

...agreed. Your concise comment, Ramza, is one of my favorites of the hundreds I've read these past few weeks. Though I find myself rooting hard for (previous winners) Dustin Brown, Jonathan Quick, and Marc Andre Fleury -- but also and especially Joe Thornton (having never drank from the Cup) to go out winning it all, time truly is long past due for a Canadian city to hold a Cup parade - and John Tavares or Mike Smith hoisting the chalice would be so very sweet too - no? Dave Andrechuck and Ray Bourque retiring as winners remains among my favorite Cup memories. (There are so very many amazing NHL careers which do not include a Cup win, let alone one at the end of a great career). Over the years I've found fans of the sport -- and the good of it's future -- are much rarer than fans of one particular team or another, so cheers to you, Ramza. Wishing you a fulfilling Stanley Cup Spring!

@@toddjon Appreciate your feedback! Yeah absolutely agree with you. I don't currently have a favorite team. I usually have players I favor like McDavid, and root for the team they're in to win the cup. It would be nice to any Canadian team to win the cup right now. Favoring Oilers and Flames right now, only because Leafs have the tendency to choke during playoffs.

No. Archibald is due for a goal and he is sniffing around like a horny guy in a college girl's laundry hamper. Did you see the two goals that Archibald missed, the one being the open netter and the other being the wraparound that hit the post. Watch Archibald have a goal next game.

@@pw6005 Oh, I thought you were in Canada too. Here it is on cable and broadcast TV (which is free). I record most of the games anyway. Then I can skip the ads and intermission. As long as I don't know the final result, it is better than watching live (in my opinion).

There’s a constant crapping on oilers D. Give them credit here. It wasn’t stellar, there were miscues… but that was, by their standard, some of the best D I’ve seen them play.
