Pleky has always been of the smartest defensive forwards in the league. Toronto made a smart move by taking him because they knew they would eventually face the Bruins. He wasn’t too happy about it because he’s never played anywhere else but he will fit in just right.

THIS was a playoff game that was expected between these two teams. Leafs deserved this win and yes both teams got bounces and posts in this game. The refs kept the whistles in there pockets and this game was just played with tons of pace. Leafs were desperate and played a strong game, Boston played well as well, they had quality chances too. This was an overall good game so theres no reason to berate either team if your a fan of either or.

Hes gonna get something. He's a clutch goal scorer.. Now he sees his team mates doing good. Now its gonna make him wanna go too. He will feed off of the positive vibes. Kid is sooo fast, he just needs to slow down once he has a good space from him n the defender behind him. It will help him be soft on his hands.

Overall ignoring the elephant in the room this was a fantastic game. Both teams played to their strengths, the leafs were deadly on the fast break and the bruins put on a clinic at times with the cycle. I still think the bruins are going to win the series but nice to see the leafs getting some of their swagger back

Leafs still have a lot of work to do when it comes do cleaning up the defence. Puck luck shifted a bit more in favor for the Leafs and several of the times Andersen was down and a Bruins player was shooting. Costly fanned shot by Rick Nash with an open net, late in the third, and not to mention the heart stopping save in the dying seconds. I think that the Leafs are only getting started. Boston already gave it their all outshooting 43-30 and Leafs still come out on top.

The entire Leifs system is absolutely amazing from top to bottom. The Leifs are in the playoffs. The Marlies are the top seed in the AHL, and the Solar Bears are up 2 games to nothing on the South Carolina Sting Ray's. Looks like a club and a system that's going places.

To be honest your right this series can go either way but i see it as Leafs taking it in 6 but possibly 7 there team is just good with young players who are fast and can score great just there defense needs to get a little better and for sure they could easily win again on thursday!
