I said a few weeks ago that Kuzy needed to be traded just to get his confidence back. I really hope he re-finds his game. But even more so, I hope they flip him to another team cause I don't want any more former Canucks wasting away in Calgary during what might be a rebuild.

@@JeremyCuddles Wasn't really a confidence thing, Just didnt fit the coach's system. Don't fight along the boards, bad defensively. In a run and gun system he's good, but in a structures system he isnt

Great game for Lindholm tonight as he scores 2 goals in his Canucks debut...Demko was brilliant in the 3rd period shutting the Hurricanes down from scoring & helping Vancouver hold on for the 3-2 Victory... A Nice start for the Canucks to kickoff this 5 game road trip as they head to Boston next to face the Bruins in a heavyweight tilt on Thursday...

Good Game Vancouver, those 2 deflects from Lindholm were pretty nice not gonna lie and Demko played good as well. Kochetkov played good also but has gotta get back on his A game coming back from his injury.

Felt like he was a little out of sorts. But yeah he played a great game. When 2 of your goals against are deflections it's not really your fault. Played a very good game other than the 3rd goal. Necas is a joy to watch too. Great passer. Shame we only get to see y'all twice a year.

Petey is having a tough year, yeah I know someone will google his stats and vomit them at me. But he hasn't really been crisp. Which is frightening for other teams cause we're one of the best teams in the league. A dialed in Petey on this roster is gonna do some real damage.

@@JeremyCuddles I was thinking the same thing. He turns the puck over at the offensive blue line a LOT. I think he just needs to tighten things up a little and he'll be fine.

Many people who I talked to said we gave up too much but I don't think so It would have been nice if Tanev was included in the Mix back to Vancity What upsets me is that Benning gave up Markstrom,Taney and Tofoli for Zero Draft picks Now they are all worth more than a 1st rounder each.. Going back to Lindholm one of the best 200 Foot players in the Leage Selke types are hard to come by

Last year, Kuzmenko would have put in those two goal mouth tips by Lindholm. Don't know what happened this season. His confidence was so low that a trade would do him good. They did show during the first intermission his goal against Boston. Just like his old self, a sniper special. This trade may turn out to be a win-win for both teams.

There is a part of me that wonders if he never recovered mentally from that puck to the face earlier this season? That was ugly and for him to miss only one game from it was a miracle, but maybe it also shook his confidence about going to the net hard?

I think kuz'll have no trouble getting back on track, it was just an issue of compatibility with tocch's coaching style imho, and with the canucks current success it's difficult to argue against the moves they are making.

It just hit me. Every Canuck who went to the All-Star either got a point or, in the case of Demko and Tocchet, a win! In fact, Tyler Myers was the only Canuck who got a point who didn’t go to the All-Star game. Too bad, since he won the Calder Trophy.

Canucks absolutely need an upgrade on Noah Juulsen! He looked awful tonight. Looks awful most nights. I know Soucy will probably be back for The Playoffs but defensive depth is needed for a long playoff run! I wouldn't be too confident running out Juulsen even as your #7 come playoff time.

Everyone hear me out, Petr Mrazek should win the Vezina this year. He played behind the worst team in the league, and still puts up great number. Demko, Swayman, and Hellybuck play on good teams. Why am I the only one who actually isn’t blind and sees this. I bet if Mrazek played in Winnipeg or Vancouver he’d have the best save percentage and GAA in the whole league.

Swayman and Hellebuyck play on good defensive teams. Demko is still required to steal entire periods for the Canucks when the team still occasionally takes a nap. Shots in the third period of this game were 12-3 for the Canes, and Demko is the main reason the game stayed 3-2 for the Canucks.

They tagged up before Boeser touched it. So it was offside temporarily, but they got back onside before any Canuck touched it.
