@sportsnet highlight guys, you should include things like a major penalty in the highlights please! I feel like injuries where players do not return and major penalties are important context, just like a 2 second acknowledgement would be great!

This game was easily the best game I've seen so far today in Detroit playing a very scary team Wings came back on a long break I did not expect the Wings to do as well as I thought but Overtime was cool the whole experience was fun Walman in the clutch in Overtime and on a pen shot! Wings next game will be on Tuesday is Edmonton at 9PM! Vancouver play tomorrow at 1.30 PM vs Washington in the Caps arena! Goodluck both team! Coming from a Leafs fan!!!

Damn been awhile since the Canucks dropped 2 stinkers in a row but gotta hand it to the Red Wings for battling back like that. That was an intense game and you could see both teams really wanted it. I’m looking forward to the rematch on Thursday.

Rare to see anyone jockstrap a defenseman and the goalie at this level. That’s something you see in high school hockey with that big of a talent gap between players. To do it at this level is pretty insane imo.

nervous match, Wallman is handsome (dance, Jack, dance). There is a lack of a player who could physically protect the scorers (Kostin is not included in the squad yet). DeBrincat has to wave his fists. Seider is not used in PP with shots from the blue line... team - with victory!!!

each game is a stepping stone to perfecting the chemistry of the team , when the team is winning the team is in sync when they lose, they highlight the areas which need to be worked on to which the improvement usually shows in their next performance . By the time the second half of the season arrives the team should have most kinks ironed out and each loss helps the fine tune those areas that really need fixing in order to make them a tough team to beat come playoff time

Just watched this on KZfaq for the first time today after watching the highlights from February 8th, where the Canucks lost to the Bruins 0- 4, thought of the song from The Fixx "Saved By Zero". Fascinating after the Red Wings score & watching the referees break up 3 separate fights to the tune of" Without Me" from Eminem & "Don't Stop Believin' " from the rock band Journey and the Penalty Shot, but you got to hand it to them, they just wanted to win more 🙂👍🙏💒.

Задоров в Ванкувер, Кузьменко из Ванкувера. Рабочий процесс. Тренеру важнее не индивидуальная статистика игроков, тренер отвечает за результаты команды. С результативным Кузьменко в прошлом сезоне Ванкувер не попал в плей-офф даже, в этом сезоне с нерезультативным Кузьменко Ванкувер идет первым во всей лиге. Кузьменко может блеснуть мастерством в отдельном эпизоде и забить шайбу, но на длительном отрезке, в частности в жестоком рубилове плей-офф команде нужны более надежные и универсальные игроки вроде ЛИндхольма. В Вегасе собраны именно такие игроки-работяги, и Вегас почти не пропускает плей-офф и даже взял за счет ровного и сбалансированного состава Кубок!

Its a great win for the Redwings but the thing that strikes me is that when the Canuck's lose they nearly always pick up a point by going to OT & shootouts.

one reason I think Canucks are losing is what used to make them good, they would actively cover the other teams players preventing goals and helping score. they are standing around and not covering players now. just a thought

Танец зовётся Гридди, Джейк Уолмен его исполняет каждый раз когда победный забивает. Помнится, когда он его исполнял в первый раз (Детройт у Питтов отыгрался с 0:4 и выиграл в овертайме, победная у Уолмена) кто-то возникал, мол, "низя праздновать так, этот танец только для особенных случаев!", ну то есть, команда отыгралась и победный на твоём счету, почему бы и не отпраздновать?

How does the Nhl line up one team that hasnt played in 10 days and another on back to back in the fing afternoon? Canucks are a beast of a team. Wings got lucky that the Canucks went down to 4 defenseman. What a joke of a call in OT. Petty gets stick held and then yoi call Hughes. Hey NHL next time you want to rig a game just let us know before it starts.
