@@bobnewfart7630 Swayman is younger and has the higher ceiling. So Bruins should keep him(he's the goalie the Bruins should start in the playoffs). Ullmark nixed a trade to become the Kings starting goalie. Ullmark is becoming the $5 million per year backup. Gonna be tough trading him with that No Trade Clause(dumb to give those to players contracts)!

@@Bruins-vq5ey Because the Caps dominated the entire game offensively and it easily could’ve been 3-0 at the end of the 1st period if it weren’t for Swayman keeping the Bruins alive for this entire game yet the Bruins still couldn’t get through the Caps defense at any point.

Boston had 3 or 4 by my count, but considering the caliber of team that Boston is that's pretty damn impressive. Caps definitely brought it tonight. Gotta close out the season tomorrow with a win.

@@mcrsum182 Lets be honest.. Boston has no point into giving up everything on ice at this point... they moved in slow motion to probably save power and go injury free for play-offs... Didnt seems like they wanted to play "good" hockey... It was horrible match, but I don't mind since Play-offs will begin soon

@@vlads.3192 ~ Boston definitely mailed this one in ~ just as they did against Carolina two games ago. That kind of Jekyll & Hyde approach is okay during regular season, but doesn't work in the playoffs. B's need to get it outta 1st gear.

Бостан в регулярке нахлестал побед на 109 очков(на пары в кубке тоже не влияет если ещё 3 забрали) вот и вышли для откатки что бы не травмироваться.А кэпы одну шайбу пробили в игре всего - ещё радуются типа выиграли как первое место в чемпе. Ну с кандачка не выйграли сегодня - Бостанам от этого фиолетого

I'm a Caps fan. Good to see the urgency the guys bring to the table when it matters. I like what I have seen from both teams. Good game by both. Now, only if the young guys played a full season together in DC and not dawdling in the minors before the callups.

Was that also true earlier in the season when the Caps shut them out? The Caps just match up really well against the Bruins no matter what and win. The Caps are 2-0-1 against the Bruins this year and the lose was in a SO. To bad the Bruins couldn't have won the East it would have been great seeing the Caps win in the first round against them.

Almost always means a 1st round exit. And since the Ovi era the Caps have dominated the Bruins. I dont care about the B's v the league or the Caps v the league this is about the Caps v B's.

Being a Bruins fan is unnerving this year. We dominated playoff-bound teams for 4 games in a row, then the next night, we play like complete assholes. How can we go from unstoppably good, to uselessly terrible in just 45 hours? WTF!

The Capitals intensity is much higher fighting for their season lives, the Bruins are a playoff lock..The B’s will take the last game over Ottawa this is sure thus securing first in the Atlantic.

They're thinking of playing the Leafs in the first round. Considering that the last time the Leafs beat the Bruins was in Nov 5, 2022, it's basically a free series win.

@@jackchen515 seems unthinkable they would throw the last two games to play the Leafs but you may be right, know soon enough. Another thing, if the Panthers throw their game and lose the Bruins still come in first even if they lose to Ottawa.

Sway played well enough to win, but Caps wanted/needed this one more & they got it.🏒

Swayman played well but the rest of the team couldn't get past a really clean defensive playing team in the Caps. It could have been 3 or 4 to 0 if not for Swayman. Lindgren again stood on his head when needed for the Caps to push them to 1 more win to get to the playoffs.
