Andrei Vasilevskiy turned aside all 25 shots he faced, Victor Hedman had three points, and Anthony Duclair scored in his debut as the Tampa Bay Lightning trounced the Philadelphia Flyers 7-0 in a game that John Tortorella received a game misconduct.

This was the biggest game of the year for Tampa. Duclair was incredible, Dumba was very solid, Sheary finally getting some goals, Vasy finally gets a shutout, and Raddysh was absolutely outstanding, he looked like Kucherov as a defenseman tonight. The first game after the deadline and Tampa had to win this one. Great game boys, they need to keep it up. Hope Cernak is alright.

Vasilevskiy has 34 career shut-outs and he is only 29 years old. .917 save percentage. Not bad. John lost his mind when the score hit 4-0 . He is a good coach and should be respected. Thunder and Lightning hit Philly this day.

There are a few things contributed to it. Not all player and coach fault. 1 McCauley ejected Torts at the end of 1st period that eliminated their chance of a comeback. Actually he messed up the whole game after a few minutes. He should be investigated. 2 Flyers has some change in roster and they only have 5 defenders on the bench. 3 The trade that Flyers made on defenseline is at least questionable.

@biaohan4358 Wrong. Teams with more heart get motivated after an incident like a coach ejection or a player injury. Guess what that says about the Flyers?

@@MOTU_CTRnot when the ref is on the other side of the ice. Look how many penalities McCauley called against flyers in the game. And a lot of them are questionable. The one on Attard, and the overturned tripping, both bs calls.

у Фили выездная серия, Флориду в сложном матче обыграли в гостях, ну видать после этого запал у игроков прошел. Ну и Тампа хорошо точечно усилилась, Дюклер - хороший, быстрый напад ,плюс н апятаке отрабатывает, а Дамба - четкий защитник, фамилия прямо в точку - реально дамба ,во всяком случае в Миннесоте он качественно играл, а потом его как и Дюклера сослали куда в треш-команду на юг, в Аризону что ли...

This is how Tortorella keeps getting jobs. He's won 4 playoff SERIES since 2004 (2 decades) but gets tons publicity with things like this and fights with the media, not on his record. OVERRATED! Wes McCauley is the Joe West of referees.

People talking about McCauley having an overinflated ego after this incident are insane. Torts just likes getting mad at nothing and he thinks he's the most important person in the room no matter what. Wes McCauley is consistently voted the best referee in the league, every player loves him and respects him a lot, most coaches like him as well. Torts just hates everyone and has a short fuse.
