This kid just single-handedly dragged the worst team in the league to victory against the best. Gets the first goal off of recovering his own rebound 4 times in a row and then gets the OT goal essentially solo with his teammates seemingly not even crossing into the offensive zone let alone doing anything to shield the jets. Amazing. I’m on board the Bedard train after this.

@@schmingusss fair enough but you can say that about almost any game in NHL history. Of course the goalie has to not let in goals to make the goals scored matter. That goes for any sport with a goalie for that matter.

Bedard is a beast. Imagine him on a team that was able to give him clean puck possession all the time? Only 1 mistake from Mrazek kept them in the game as well.

Mrazek another brilliant game if he wouldn’t be playing for a rebuilding team his numbers would be insane this year are still really good bedard wrist shot is one that I’ve never seen the way he hides the puck then shoots loved his aggressive play great game mrazek and bedard mrazek has been a beast this year

Weird. The Jets beat the Bruins, the Kings, the Av's, the Red W. They lose against the Sharks, the Habs, and the Hawks. The Hawks were the least pain. What a performance from Bedard and Mrazek!!

When this kid hits his stride with a couple good set up guys he's going to score 50/60 and maybe more, his release and accuracy are next level.

Every fan in that barn knew he was gonna bury it when he got the puck in his own zone even. He fed off of em, took that S straight down main st and sniped it! What a legend!

Even when the Hawks are the worst team in the league the fans are still some of the best.. some fan bases don’t deserve a good hockey team and can’t fill out half an arena and then the Hawks fans pack the United centre every game. They deserve a better team and hopefully with Bedard to build around they become one of the best again, those Stanley cup runs from 2010 to 2015 were some of the best series I’ve ever watched.

When Bedard took that pass in OT it was like someone turned a switch on for the crowd. They could sense what was coming. And Bedard made one of his classic shots for the winner. He sure is fun to watch. Go Hawks, Go.

Don’t know if you follow the hawks very closely but I feel like he gives the Hawks a chance to win most nights.. even when badly outshot/outplayed there’s confidence they can win

9:40 that angle really shows just how ridiculous Bedards release is. Not easy to read, even for a goalie like Hellebuyck.

You could see that Hellebuyck cheated to his right after Bedard pulled the puck in and then Bedard shot it in glove side. Look at his stance just before the puck goes in. His center of mass is leaning to the stick side and he had to reach back to his left with outstretched leg and glove. Bedard fooled him with the pull and drag play.
